Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony: "At a Breaking Point"

Yup, the mag is proudly displaying a ringless Jennifer Lopez on its new cover, insisting that there is major trouble in paradise for Ms. Lo and her hubby. Marc Anthony was also seen without his ring, in Las Vegas last weekend, and Jen attended the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button all by her lonesome.
So, what's the prob?
"He's very, very controlling of her," a pal of Marc's said. "The skirts aren't as short. You don't see so much of that booty anymore."
Okay, interesting quote, but the mag says that Marc, who's been married to Jen for four years, also picks out his wife's clothes and keeps tabs on her phone calls.
I could totally see that, btw, he creeps me out.
Anyway, insiders are claiming the Jen also blames her hubby for her career fizzling.
"Jennifer looked around and said, 'This is my life now? I'm a Long Island housewife?'" a source blabbed. "She hates that everything she worked for went down the tubes."
I don't know -- considering Jen gave birth to their twins, Max and Emme, ten months ago, maybe she just had her hands full and liked it that way.
What do you think -- truth or trash? And would you be upset if Marc and Jen split?

what is it with celebs having controlling men lately? men trying to control the wife is stupid. and it seems that celebs men think that they can do whatever the F they want b/c they have money.
unless, of course, it's a publicity thing, but I highly doubt that with JLo...

Listen, I don't blame this guy. Jennifer has cheated on every one of her boyfriends and husbands. He could not trust her for what she is. Now she wants to check out other guys again. Well I'm glad she's not getting it her way. If she does not like it, she should divorce the guy who finally put some descency into her panties, so that she finally can divorce, without her being the guilty one.
Considering she stole him from his first wife, I think she deserves whatever she gets. She should have left him where he was.

I feel sorry for all the celeb.These celebs get married and you no that 99% of them don not stay married and who suffers [Thats right the kids]and then they grow up in a rich snoody enviroment and tadah we have a paris,nicloe,etc all over again.

I believe in the sanctity of marriage. I hope that Jennifer and Marc do also and will make their marriage work.
Marriage is never easy and it takes constant work--even more difficult when you are in the public eye.
Get conseling, whatever it takes to hold a marriage together. I lost my husband (through death)after 58 years of marriage--would do it all over again if I still had him.
Whenever men get together with a woman who is prettier, richer. smarter or more popular than themselves, they become critical and controlling, so as to get over their own insecurities and gain some dignity in the relationship. I'm sure most women have experienced that.

If the rumors are true, they both are getting what they deserve. She for going after a married man in the first place and he for leaving his wife for her. Its a wonder they even lasted this long. The ones who are going to suffer are the kids as always. Financially they will be fine, but money isn't everything.

Personally, I don't think that he is trying to control her per se...I think that he wants her to think a little more about how her actions affect those that are close to her. I'm guessing that everyone has forgotten the J. Lo & P. Diddy fiasco?!

YOU CAN'T "STEAL" A PERSON FROM SOMEONE ELSE. Every adult is capable and responsible for deciding whom they want to be with. Has anyone on this blog ever been "stolen" from someone else? Highly unlikely. We make our own decisions in love.
Hey Nyags, get back from the Denise Richards episode. The word "stolen" is being used figuratively. She did try to get attention from a married man and seduced him, causing him to astray from his wife and children. She has also given attention to other men, while being married to her husbands. She has a tendancy to be attracted to adultery. Why don't you just admit it. Don't be so literal. Expand your grammar!!!!
I agree with most of the other folks, a. you get what you pay for(Marc has always been controlling and Jen knew it). Also her children should come first, not herself. As far as breaking up I could careless.

He did the exact same thing to his ex-wife Dayanara. He cannot be married to a beautiful, successful woman, because his self consciousness kicks in. I hope Jennifer leaves him.
It is my opinion that you Get what you Give. And however they got together, anyone with any Biblical morals know that you can't and will not prosper if you have a adulterous relationship. And God is going to have the last say about Jennifer and Marc. I pray in Jesus name that whatever trials, tribulations, and troubles that this couple may be having will work out if it is true at all. We all know that misery loves company so until we hear it from the mouths of Jennifer or Marc we all should think before speaking negative comments on this and any other topic. Remember "What God has for Jennifer and Marc is going to be for Them". Who are any of us to judge this subject without knowing the Truth?
Never liked either of them! I really don't want to see either of them on the cover of any magazines.
