John Travolta "Heartbroken" Over Jett's Death
I'm still so sick over the news that John Travolta and Kelly Preston's son, Jett, is gone.
The 16-year-old boy passed away during a family vacation in the Bahamas. He reportedly hit his head in the bathtub on Friday morning and was found by the nanny. Sources say John tried to save his son by performing CPR.
"He didn't want anything to happen to that boy, and he kept on trying to revive him," the family's lawyer, Michael Ossi told People.com. "He did mouth-to-mouth until they had to physically remove John to take Jett to the hospital."
"He never dreamed of this - their relationship was so close," the attorney continued. "He always said 'I'm happy as long as my kids are happy.' He is heartbroken ... To bury your son is the worst thing you can ever do."
Jett had a history of seizures, but it is unclear if the bump on the head caused the seizure or vice versa. An autopsy is being performed.
Just so, so sad.

The death of a child is so heartbreaking no matter the circumstances. It seems even more tragic when it is unexpected. Unfortunately the Travolta and Preston family will now experience a generation of grief where once there was joy.

I am so sad and heartbroken for them. This is all I have been thinking about since I found out this morning. I have had experience in this area and I hate what they are going through.
I, too, have lost a son, just last year, and the pain is just unimaginable. I hope they will find peace in their time of grieving. I feel so very sad for all three of them.
I am terribly saddened by the news of Jett Travolta. My prayers go out to John, Kelly, and their daughter. Time heals all wounds. Let the wonderful memories carry on in their hearts forever.
My heart is so saddened for John and his familly. I to lost my youngest son 3 months ago. It was so tragic for me and still is.I will say prayers for you and Jett when I say them for my own son Kevin.

that is just horrible. i feel so sad for all 3, i lost a twin brother and know that it is just the worst time in my life. our prayers and hearts go out to the Travolta family; may your following 2009 be happier than the beginning.
We've all grown up with John Travolta. Watching him become famous, getting married, having kids. He was always just a good family guy, always smiling, saying positive things. It feels like we all know him and my heart goes out to him, his wife and his daughter. God Bless you all.

Just stick together and be there for each other...I know it's hard but Family is the best thing for all of use right now,,You must talk about in order to get through it..some people say it gets easer. But its dos en you just learn to live with it..just remember all the good time you guys had with Jett. laughing!!first tooth..Bike..school.. ect.
