John Travolta's Son Dies
Such a tragic news. John Travolta and Kelly Preston's 16-year-old son, Jett, has died. According to the actor's lawyer, Michael Ossi, the boy suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died on the scene. Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas confirmed the death to TMZ.com. John and Kelly also have a daughter, Ella, 8. So awful. Our hearts go out to their family. UPDATE: A police spokeswoman told the Associated Press that Jett hit his head in a bathtub Friday morning and was declared dead at Rand Memorial Hospital. According to police, a caretaker had found Jett unconscious in the bathroom around 10 a.m. An autopsy is being done determine the exact cause of death.

Thats soo sad. My heart goes out to the family
This is very tragic. I have a 16 year old and cannot even fathom losing her. John Travola has been in Santa Fe, where I live, numerous times. He is very, very, nice, as is his wife. My son and friends have run into them eating at Denny's in Santa Fe..not a fancy place. He is so down to earth and loved by all. He and Kelly losing a child affects the hearts of all. Yo siento (Deeply sorry)

John and Kelly, My heart goes out to the both of u . I am also a parent and can feel what that kind of pain must be like? but have not walked as of yet in ur shoes? But, I know that Jett is in a much better place now, he's home with God. that's the place he is the safest and in his best health. he is new gain. I love u both as actors? I remember going to the theatres to se "Grease" and all John's movies. I have seen u act alot too Kelly and u are a very good actress! my heart breaks for them i have come close to losing a child when my son died at birth but he was resuscitated thank god and medical staff but the trauma of that 5 years on is something i still find hard to speak about, so I can't even begin to imagine their pain

I have followed both of these actor/parents lives for many decades and am saddened that *the magic* doesn't protect them from the same sort of experiences that we all face. I am also saddened that they do not have the *luxury* of experiencing this ONLY in the midst of their family and personal friends. Not being in their inner circle, I feel almost intrusive in extending our family love and concern for them at this time of special *audience*. When my mother died I saw her spirit leave her body. Not like a physical being, but in my heart I knew she left this world to be with God.
