Chris Brown & Rihanna Had Violent Past
Chris Brown should be thanking his lucky stars (and his lawyers) that he didn't his case didn't go to trial.
According to a probation officer's report filed for the singer's sentencing and obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Chris' little abusive stunt with Rihanna in February was not his first. In fact, there were two previous incidents related to domestic violence in Chris' past.
The first offense happened three months before his arrest, while Chris and Rihanna were in Europe. Apparently there was a "verbal dispute," she slapped him, and he threw her into a wall.
Lovely.
Then, in January, while vacationing in Ri's native Barbados, the fiery couple got into an argument while they were driving around in a Range Rover. Chris reportedly got out of the car and smashed the driver and front-passenger-side windows. No injuries were reported.
So this was a very, very bad cycle of behavior that was not going to end well. It's pretty obvious that both parties could use some counseling -- and maybe five years apart isn't such a bad idea.

Rihanna is getting all the sympathy votes, but she is the one who starts all of it. No Chris should have never gone that far and done any of those things but he is not the only one in that abusive relationship either. I have been a victim of abuse - I know the cycles and I know none of it is right, but I will tell you what - this has made me LESS of a fan of Rihanna (good thing my daughter bought her cd before all this)and more of a Chris Brown fan!!
