Eddie Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, can't take enough opportunities to slam her hubby for his cheating ways, but the actor -- who filed for divorce earlier this week -- is doing his best to keep their personal matters, well, personal.

"From the outset I have made a conscious decision to try and keep this matter private and not discuss it in the press. While my wife and I are dissolving our marriage, we will work together to parent our two children," the CSI: Miami newbie said of his two sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. "I love my boys very much. I want only the best for them and am committed to being a devoted father."

And, despite the nastiness Brandi is spewing over Eddie leaving her for his former costar LeAnn Rimes, the actor is keeping his mouth shut.

"I will continue to be respectful and sensitive to this issue by not doing interviews about this ongoing private matter," he said. "I wish everyone would do the same."

Eddie and LeAnn recently came out of the closet with their relationship, going golfing right out in the open and attending a Kings of Leon concert together this week. It is rumored that these two have been having an affair for months -- and are now finally are coming clean with their romance.

Eddie may want to keep things quiet but, if the past few weeks are any indication, his jilted wife is not zipping her lips anytime soon.
