Yes, Paula was funny and entertaining, and she will be missed on the show, but I'm not going to throw a fit and refuse to ever watch the show again. American Idol is not about the judges. It's about finding new, talented singers. Who cares who judges them? I understand that they play a very important part in the process, but that's just judges. Does it matter which names are under the category? I agree with the closing statement. American Idol used to be a singing competition, and, even though it hasn't, it should remain as such. It's not a soap opera, it's not a drama, and it shouldn't be THAT big of a deal that one of the judges is leaving. Miss and move on. It's simple.
