It's Lonely Being Jennifer Aniston
Don't think Jennifer Aniston is oblivious to what the world is saying about her.
"I'm not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room," Jen told the new issue of Elle. "It's fine. I can take it."
The fact that she's 40 and single, while her ex Brad Pitt lives the family life with Angelina Jolie, may be a problem for the rest of the universe, but Jen is dealing with it the best way she knows how.
"If I'm the emblem for 'this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,' so be it. I can make fun of myself. And I'll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up."
But is Jen really lonely? I don't think so. From rumored dates with Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler -- and just about every other single man in Hollywood -- just because Jen doesn't have a ring on her finger doesn't mean she's sitting home alone every night with a pint of Ben & Jerry's.
Hmmmm, lonely sounds sort of a good, right?

maybe she should spend more time working on her god-awful acting skills and picking better movies. ones that aren't so predictable and boring. and spend less time reading the 'lonely jen' tabloids headlines and stories from gossip sites.
I think Jen is great. She's gorgeous (very natural), smart, and extremely talented. I think I have yet to see a bad movie with her in it. It's unfortunate for Brad that he is missing out on her. I'm sure family life with Angie is great, but family life with Jen, I'm sure, would be much more 'real', since Jen seems much more 'real'. She's single, she should be allowed to 'date' whoever she wants! She's tried being married and it didn't work out. Good for her to go out and have some fun. What does everyone expect her to do? Go out and marry the first guy who comes along, so that she can be included in the many Hollywood divorces? Who says being single is lonely? Doesn't sound like she thinks it's lonely!
There is nothing wrong with being single!!!! You don't have to be in a couple to be a good/whole person! It's so ridiculous!
"Lonely GIRL"? Obviously this woman never ever even tries to pretend to be a grown up at ripe old age of 40. Look at all the A-list stars who are mothers and Oscar winners younger than her. Reese, Rachael Weisz, Zeta Jones, etc. etc. Does anybody ever call these formidable women "GIRL"? Have they ever call themselves "GIRLS" these days? GROW UP. You are such an overgrown, pathetic, such an anti-role model to all woman. It is because of your immaturity, insecurity, selfishness and overblown EGO that your husband left you. Obviously you haven't learn anything since then. This woman ALWAYS blames everyone else for anything that's wrong with her. Never ever taking responsibility for herself. When Rumor Has It tanked it was the scripts' fault. When she neglected her marriage, it was because Angelina was uncool. And the main reason she lost her husband, being selfish and insecure, it's all mom's fault. Well no wonder nobody wants to stay with you. Even today Cooper and Butler can't stand being 'linked' to her even for a day.
WELL...... I am 40 and SINGLE!!!! Is it a crime?! Are they writing about ME in tabloids? NO!!! That is the way I like it. I believe we should leave Jen alone to live her life the way she wants to live it, not downgrade her because of it!!! As far as her EX....FORGET HIM!!! I no longer have respect for this man who broke her heart only to go off with the "HOMEWRECKER" herself!!! You go, JEN!!! Be who you want to be!!! US 40-single ladies need to stick together!!!
