Well, here's some good news for Michael Jackson's kids.

In a new a court document, Michael's dad, Joe Jackson, has basically said that he's going to have very little to do with his grandchildren. He did, however, say that his wife (who he lives separate from), Katherine Jackson, will be a great guardian for Paris, Prince, and Blanket.

Joe called Katherine "a wonderful caretaker and guardian" who has done "an excellent job raising our children and other grandchildren. All decision making authority will rest with Katherine.

"I have had a close family relationship with these grandchildren since their birth," he stated. "I do visit the family residence from time to time and will continue to do so, however I will not be involved in raising the children."

Best news ever for those kids.

Meanwhile, Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael's dermatologist and once-rumored biological father of Paris and Prince, also wants a say in the children's up-bringing -- and will be petitioning the court.

"Dr. Klein has been involved with the children in sharing holidays and other special events and wishes to have the ability to continue his involvement as a very close friend of their father and offers his guidance and protection forever," the doc's legal team said in a statement yesterday.

Everyone wants a piece of the action. Even the family dermatologist.
