Michael Douglas Addresses Son's Arrest
A few days ago, news broke that Michael Douglas's son with his former wife, Diandra Douglas, had been arrested on a drug charge. For the first time, Cameron Douglas' parents are speaking out about their son's actions.
"The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be," Michael's spokesperson said.
Right now, Cameron is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. He was originally confined to his Manhattan apartment, but broke the terms of his home detention when he asked his girlfriend to bring him a hidden supply of heroin. Wow, Cameron. Really?
If convicted, he could spend anywhere from a minimum of 10 years to the rest of his life in jail.

Ten to life? Sounds reasonable to me. He better hope I am not on the jury - he was given preferential treatment with the house arrest and abused his privilege, now its time to pay the price.
Addiction is a tough thing. God help us all and keep praying for everyone afflicted by the evils of drugs.
life in prison thats nuts drugs are addiction and unless your selling not a crime it should be viewed like alchol every person who drives after a few is guilty but its big money so a lot is not done about it is more dangerous than drugs drugs kill the user not someone innocent like alchol
