Parker Posey Diagnosed with Lyme Disease
Actress Parker Posey has had to pull out of a recent project due to an illness.
According to a statement released Wednesday by Playwrights Horizons, the Best in Show actress would not be able to perform in the new stage production of This "due to developing a case of Lyme disease."
Lyme disease is usually contracted by a tick bite and is highly treatable with antibiotics but, if it's not taken care of in a timely manner, could lead to heart, brain, and nerve damage.
Here's hoping she gets well soon.

I would not wish this disease on anyone. I have been diagnosed with Lyme and Ebstein-Barr and have been being treated for almost two (2)years. I have been ill for over 20 years and treated for everything you can imagine. I wish Parker Posey a quick recovery. I will keep you in my prayers and would like to be kept informed of your progress.
