The Surprising Contribution to Billy Mays' Death
When we first learned of pitchman Billy Mays' death, the initial coroner's report from late June determined that he died from pulmonary embolism.
Sadly, new details are being revealed, and these show that his death wasn't as natural as we first thought.
According to E! Online, toxicology tests confirm that Billy had used cocaine in the days before his death, and the drug was a factor -- and perhaps even the cause of -- his passing.
Does this news change the way you feel about the OxiClean pitchman? Or are you still upset over his death?

What does that have to do with Billy Mays? Go advertise some place else.
His passing is very sad. This info may explain some of his manic behavior. Little too loud for me. Will miss him, just the same.
Anything to not blame the airline.
First - his passing is still very sad.

I am not a person who watches 'shopping channels' - ever! But everyone has seen Billy's info-mercials. And one thing I remember from an interview a few years ago .... He refused to endorse products that he did not believe in (i.e. garbage and rip-offs, etc.)
I hope that his integrity is something people remember about him! Or, at least SOMEONE could do a story about it NOW - especially now that everyone is wrapped up in the fact SOME cocaine was found in his system.
People are vultures - and thrive on bad news. How sad.
