New Celeb Feud! Chris Brown vs. Oprah!

Really, Chris Brown? You're going to mess with Oprah? How dumb can you really be?
The singer told People.com that he didn't appreciate the fact that Oprah, motivated by the incident in which he beat up Rihanna, put on a show about domestic abuse.
"I commend Oprah on being like, 'This is a problem,' but it was a slap in my face," he said.
Ugh. Terrible choice of words, Chris.
"I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. She could have been more helpful, like, 'OK, I'm going to help both of these people out.' "
Oh, so because you did a few good things, Oprah (and the rest of the world) should overlook the fact that you put your hands on this young girl and almost killed her.
Not a chance. And Oprah wasn't about to let Chris' comments to the magazine go untouched.
"Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school, but she takes domestic abuse very seriously," a rep for the Queen told E! News.
"She hopes he gets the counseling he needs."
And we hope he learns to shut his mouth.
Do you think Chris was way out of line? Or should Oprah have been a little more impartial?

Chris Brown is a brain dead idiot!
Chris Brown is a complete moron. Setting the fact aside that he has pleaded guilty for domestic violence and needs to realize public opinion is generally against him before opening making such comments. If he wants to regain public trust and restore his public image, Chris should not be going head to head with Oprah at this point him time. He also needs to get a new public relations manager for better advice!
Fuck the Public, wake up people, this stuff happens everyday, for the person who wrote this article to say he almost killed her, are you serious. Do not compare this situation to any other Domestic Violence situation. ALL opinions are bias including this one. No one is asking the public to give Chris Brown sympathy. If this were a fucking athlete, would we even be talking about this right now, it would blow over. 2nd Point FUCK OPRAH
Obviously Anonymous is one who batters. One who probably believes that if you merely slap a woman around and only make her face bleed and swell it's not really battering. You must get to the point where you almost kill a woman for it to REALLY be considered battering. What an idiot. Hey Anonymous, it doesn't matter whether it's a busted lip or broken arm, football or rap star, it's wrong. And if stars like Oprah and Tyra want to educate our beautiful young or older women that they do not have to take it, God bless themm not f--k them.
You bet Chris Brown is out of line, he's a moron and perpetually arrogant. What an ass!
He was SUCH an idiot on Larry King this week! How arrogant (not to mention STUPID!!) to go on a talk show and then answer EVERY question with, "I don't wanna talk about that!" If he was a regular citizen, he so would be in jail, especially when her real damage was reportedly so much more than the picture we all got to see.
I teach and I hear young boys say it's no big deal that he hit her, that she "probably deserved it"!!!! This attitude scares me to death! We have to train our younger generation much better! Scary!!!!!
I cant stand this jerk he beats up his girlfriend and expects people to feel sorry for him so typical of an abusive jerk like him he better thank god I wasnt the judge that presided over his case because he would be in jail right now for the next five years and not on probation
Mr.Brown is very much stuck on stupid and he needs to unglue himself quickly.
Obviously in his eyes he does not have a problem. He needs to seek counselling immediately; one for his abusive behaviour and the other for his lack of intelligence..
I think he was made an example of the issue just like Vick and the whole dog fighting issue. Come on ppl get a life. they are not the only ones in the world commiting these crimes but just cuz they are famous they gotta be made the poster child. There are actually worse things they could have done. If ppl would get lives and stop worrying about what celebs are doing I think we would be able to have some decent tv shows, not all this horrible reality shows.
Chris Brown has made some very ignorant statements as of late. Whoever had him quiet right after he violated Rihanna's rights should advise him to do so now. He definitely needs a new PR person. He also shouldn't take offense to the negatives comments being made about him, should they come from Oprah or anyone else that is subjected to his callous way of dismissing this incident. He is truly a BATTERER and needs counseling badly and immediately!!!! Being a former domestic violence victim, it burns my tail that these batterers don't see how wrong they are and how much damage they cause. And it has become a sad day in America when so many want to fault Rihanna as well. THERE IS NEVER A GOOD ENOUGH REASON FOR ANY HUMAN TO BE SUBJECTED TO ABUSE. Chris Brown and his mom want to claim to be Christians (well they both need to really pray for FORGIVENESS AND GUIDANCE) and as the Christian that I am I make it my responsibility to pray for all the 'Chris' and Rihanna's' in this country, that they are guided by God's Word... And we, as parents, need to step up and teach our children that these acts are wrong and to stop listening to negative hip hop or any other genre of music and let's get back on the track (our)HIGHER POWER (whatever our belief - if any) wants us to be on. And be the best person we can be, which would include not doing harm to another individual.
hello its me i like how everybody is like yt is a thing were people can do like watever they want on it.And i think persanal things can comunicate on witch either run togeter in both stories dont u think byebye!!!@!
He should keep his mouth shut. Oprah did what she had to do. Women should keep away from him. Once a hitter always a hitter.
I used to really like Chris Brown, his music, dancing, and performance.. too bad, that what he did has influenced me to stop listening to his music and nipped any awe I originally had in him as a fantastic performer.. maybe in the future, he'll make a comeback, but he'll have to do more than make bad runs from the mouth to regain my support.
I feel bad for Rihanna for what happened. How humiliating for her it must have been to have something like that happen to her by ANYONE. What a beautiful woman - she never deserved anything like that (no one does.) Guess, it will take a while longer for Chris to actually realize this. Hopefully, he will realize it before he has to experience it himself from someone else one day, because of what he is now attracting in his life.
I think the point Oprah was trying to make by using what Chris did as a spring board for the domestic violence show (which was okay to do!) is that IT IS NOT RIGHT for 'anyone' to abuse 'anyone' else, and it should not be an accepted behavior in society.
Hey Chris.. you made that big of an influence on people that it had to be counteracted upon by someone like Oprah, don't you see? A slap in the face doesn't feel nice does it? I'm sure Rihanna felt a lot worse whe you did it to her.. You should be grateful to Oprah for helping to clean up the mess you created! You know what would clean it up even more, if You did something more besides attack everyone who is trying to help the situation, and stop doing interviews that make you look less intelligent than you really are.. just stop.
It should especially not be condoned by people of Chris's stature (or what it was before he ruined it.) He is supposed to be setting an example for other young men who look up to him to follow. If he is so flippant about this, how will other young men view it and repeat his brilliant actions, because they are looking for a leader? How will young women view it? Are young women supposed to think it's okay Chris? You should really being paying attention now.. instead of running your mouth.
You see, Chris is mad at Oprah, but what he has failed to realize is that HE is responsible for all that is now occuring - HE is the one who attracted all of this into his life, and HE is the one who will have to be patient, and try to really work at clearing himself of all the negativity instead of dip diving into fruitless blames directed at others for his own mistakes. Of course people are talking - They've been talking...long before these blogs about Chris opening his mouth after the fact.. want to dig a little deeper? You're only hurting yourself.
Grow up and being a REAL MAN. Do Better. Get involved in domestic violence programs to support battered women, be an activist now that you have deemed yourself the poster boy for it. Turn the negative into a positive that way. That is one way to create the balance you seek.. Don't want to do it? Then go to work at a factory somewhere and never think about showbiz again.
Talent and love should've been more of a focus fro Chris - NOT money, power, and control.. I heard this quote a while back.. not sure who it was from, but it went like:
If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning!
Guess we know which one can be applied to this situation. Chris... some advice... go to college - get an education!
Be an inspiration that way, now that you tripped (and, yes you did..now ya gotta fix it).. Truth hurts, but not as bad as abuse..
None of us are perfect, just be humble at how you work it!! Everything will be okay - IF YOU MAKE IT THAT WAY!
Work It Out.. (be down better)>..
then your fans 'might' come back to you.. balls in your court Chris.. Whatcha gone do with it?
PEACE, LOVE, PROGRESS & BEST WISHES TO MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES IN LIFE.
i agree wit Anonymous. this kind of thing happens everyday && whom ever wrote this your blowing it over. chris brown is titled to say wat he wants. NOBODY knows wat happened that night and everyone rejecting a man that rihanna has already forgiven. and so what about oprah just because she got money she has the rite to say and do what she wants and noone kan say anything back to her. NOPE she dont have that much power. well i miss chris brown and im ready for him to come back out. ima die hard fan and i forgive him for what he's done.
This is bull!! Stay out of Chris life!! Hell he made a mistake that more than likely he was provoked and frm the looks she started the whole fight!! Get your own life and stay out of Celebs. And this is comin from someone that is not even a big Chris Brown fan!
It is a shame a down right shame. Did thid child have some type of elders when growing up to let him know that hitting a woman was just plain wrong ? We keep on discussing. This boy doesn't have any clue that this was wrong there is no excuse none. The only thing he should have said to Oprah was " I am sorry" or can you help me get help in understanding what I did and help me not to believe that it is anyone else fault but mine.
JUST BECAUSE OPRAH HAS A SHOW AND MADE MONEY DOESNT MAKE HER ALWAYS RIGHT. PEOPLE ACT LIKE SHE IS IN THE MOB OR SOMETHING..SHE HAS MADE PLENTY OF MISTAKES HERSELF AND SHE KNOWS IT..IVE BEEN ABUSED B4 BUT THAT DONT MEAN I BASH ALL MEN BECAUSE THEY HIT A WOMAN..MEN GET ABUSED 2..THE ABUSER AND ABUSEE NEED HELP..AND AS FAR AS CHRIS BEING ARTICULATE..I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE WHO ARE EDUCATED SOUND TERRIBLE..SO LEAVE CHRIS BROWN ALONG AND GET A LIFE..
Everybody has heir opinion and I have mine. Chris Brown is always and he will forever be human. We make mistakes and for all the people sying negative things about him who are you to judge? Nobody is perfect and niether are you. People change and I have all the faith in the world that he will too. I Love Chris Brown's music and he's a good person through my eyes. We always try to deminish others when we should be helping them succeed. I will continue to support both Chris and Rhiana they both deserve it. Niether deserves all this negativity towards them and with everybody in their business... it doesn't help one bit!
The random tidbit thrown in about 'Almost Killing Her' is ridiculous. Chris Brown may not have worded that properly, but I do think Oprah was out of line. If she wants to do another show on domestic abuse, it should be for the cause, not because it was the popular headline.
If you can't walk on water and heal the broken, then you can't judge nobody, because the last time I checked none of us is perfect. So open your closet and look at the skeletons in you have, which everybody has. It's over and if time has moved on, so can we.
plain and simple, chris brown hasn't taken responsibility for his actions with rhianna. He's blowing it off as a simple oopps. Oprah, stand your ground, all the good this kid has done has merely been wiped out by hitting his girlfriend, and now by his latest comments about it. He needs help in coming to terms with what he's actually done.
Chris Brown is a good example of the fact that talent is no substitute for intelligence. After he gets off lightly, he proceeds to make out with Kanye's ex and earn another potential detractor, then he goes on Larry King with his mom and lawyer and makes some flippant statements and now he is calling out Oprah? Chris doesn't get the fact that he is more villified than Tom Cruise at this point and he needs to go into the background for a while and not talk.
He needs to give up on the possibility of reviving his career and go work on his community service and controlling his anger issues-the same goes for Rihanna who I don't believe is any angel either.
I Read alot on Chris Brown and Rihanna, and the very first fight they had she smacked him in the face. Why didn't she call the cops on herself. She lost his respect that day. Why is it ok for her to hit him but not ok for him to hit her. I don't think either of them is right. Once you start hitting each other, a couple does not have a chance. As far as Oprah, she's made some mistakes in her life and she should worry about her own issues. For a person who's always telling people how they should raise their children, she only knows how to raise dogs.
Oprah has every right to call this thug out.
Smacking a woman around doesn't make you a man, it makes you a pile of $h-t.
Yes, this happens every day, duh, but it's usually not reported in the news because the woman is too afraid to be murdered by her mate to report it. Look at the statistics, Jazminidiot.
Whatever Oprah has done, by the way who cares who she hangs out with, she hasn't beaten anyone. Not with her hands or a stick.
You that are supporting Chris on this are typical enabling-types who either abuse or have been abused. Get some help.
If it had been me, he would have woken up in the middle of the night with a fork in his throat. "Oh, sorry dear, I thought you were attacking me again."
Chris Brown you are an idiot...first you go on Larry King's show and then you make a new song...what do you think people are suppose to feel sorry for you...I know I DON'T...you had no business putting your hands on rhi...in fact you should have gotten the boot thrown at you...the nerve...keep your hands to your self...i know about abuse because it happen to me...YOU ARE NOT A MAN...in fact you are a PUNK...you want to hit on someone hit on a man not a woman...GO get some help quick chris brown because you need it...QUICK...also i refuse to listen or buy any of your songs or albums...PUNK...
Fuck the person who wrote this forum and all you people hating on Chris Brown. He is better then all you faggets and bitches. SO FUCK YOU, YOU , YOU ,YOU, YOU AND ALL YOU MOTHERFUCKERS. OPRAH IS AFAT ASS BITCH WHO PROMISED TO LOSE WEIGHT INSTEAD SHE GOT FATTER. NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THAT. SUCK MY DICK ALL YOU BITCHES ESPECIALLY THE PERSON WHO WROTE ALL THAT BULLSHIT!!!!
