Remember how some nutty judge ruled (against ex-hubby Charlie Sheen's wishes) that Denise could feature her two daughters in her new E! reality show?
Well now Denise is attempting to make us feel sympathetic towards her (not going to happen!). In the June issue of Redbook, she says:
"If I have my kids on my show, I'm exploiting them... If I don't, people will think I'm not a hands on mom. That's why it's very important to me that the girls are part of it."
Really? Or do you think your life isn't that exciting and no one will watch unless your kids are on the show? Hmmm, what a thought.
If you do want to watch, Denise's show will premiere on E! on Memorial Day.
Granted, they were with their daughter, so maybe they were just putting aside their differences in order to spend time together with their kid. Or maybe they just like to rebound with each other every other week?
Either way, here's the best part: Shanna has announced that she supports Laura Boyce, the second nanny who's suing Rob Lowe. Apparently Boyce was once also Shanna's nanny. I wonder if the woman is just trying to save herself from a lawsuit too!
How cute are Sean Preston & Jayden James?
Yes, it is a shame that Britney Spears' poor boys are splattered on the cover of the new Life & Style, but at least we get to see them. I'm sure the story that goes with this cover (something about Britney and Kevin Federline coming together for the kids and Brit confessing her love for her ex) is less than 100% accurate, but it was such a darling shot of the cuties that I couldn't let it fly by.
I just want to pinch those cheeks!
Cameron Diaz and her family held a memorial service for Cameron's dad, Emilio Diaz, this weekend, and two of Cam's ex-boyfriends showed up to lend their girl some support.
Justin Timberlake and John Mayer arrived at Mahe in Seal Beach separately, and paid their respects to Cam, along with the other guests who came to honor her dad's free-spirited life.
"Most people started arriving at 1:30 and hardly no one wore black," says a source."Lots of people were wearing Hawaiian shirts. It looked more like a party."
The boys stayed until about 4, when most of the guests began to leave, and after Cameron had made a speech about her late father, who died suddenly of pneumonia last week.
If you want to show Cameron that you care, the family has suggested sending donations to Surfrider.org or Reefcheck.org in Emilio's name, in lieu of flowers.
Richie Sambora's recent arrest for DUI may just be the beginning of the bad news for the Bon Jovi guitarist.
According to a source from the Laguna Beach Police Dept., two misdemeanor counts have been requested against Richie -- one for driving under the influence and one for child endangerment. You see, when Richie was stopped by police last month his daughter with Heather Locklear, Ava, 10, was in the car.
So, what does it mean that the charges have been "requested"?
"All that means is the police department has requested these charges against him and it was sent over to the district attorney's office," the source tells UsMagazine.com. "It does not mean that he is officially charged, the DA has the final decision on that."
Richie is scheduled to appear in court on May 7.
You know what I find interesting? We haven't heard a word from Heather about this. Can you imagine if this was a Denise Richards/Charlie Sheen situation? They'd be taking out full page ads in Variety to curse each other out.
How funny!
Paul McCartney's money-sucking ex, Heather Mills, was a guest a judge at the Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas on Friday night. But, when she was introduced from the panel, the audience booed her!
You gotta love that.
Needless to say, Heather brushed it off, kept a smiled plastered on her face while the camera was on her and did her job. She didn't seem to let her bother her later, either, as she hit the dance at the after-party at Prive. At one point, the Dancing With the Stars alum did her thing to Donna Summer's "She Works Hard For the Money."
To which I'd like to say, "Um, no."
"Better them than me."
-- Heather Mills, to Britain's GMTV morning show, on ex-husband, Paul McCartney's, rumored romances with Rosanna Arquette and Nancy Shevell
I think I speak for all of us when I say, "Just SHUT UP!"
We told you yesterday that Bobby Brown has written a tell-all autobiography, in which he has a chapter dedicated to ex-wife Whitney Houston. In the trash-talkin' book, The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothin' But, Bob says he never did crack and cocaine until he met Whit -- and that she only married him to improve her image.
Yeah, I know, we laughed, too.
Anyway, Whitney is responding to Bobby's book claims, but the singer, who is slated for a comeback, is trying to be the bigger person. "Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels the need to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it's to set the record straight," Whit's rep said in a statement.
Why bother? These two have been so nasty to each other, even when they were married, is there really anything left to say?
"I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married . . . I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children."
-- Bobby Brown, in his new autobiography, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But, on why he and ex, Whitney Houston, got married
I'm sorry, but Whitney married him to clean up her image? I beg to differ. As I remember it, her image was squeaky clean until she married Bobby -- then all the crazy crackhead stuff began. I think all those drugs burned Bob's brain.
P.S. How great is this photo of them?
Kevin Federline's lawyer wants everyone to just chillax with the talk that Britney Spears is back and better than ever. Mark Vincent Kaplan says that, though Britney is doing better with the help of her dad, Jamie Spears, reports that the once-troubled pop star is fully recovered are premature.
"Jamie is doing a really good job," the attorney told People.com. "There was a situation and that seems to be stabilized. Does that mean she’s cured? Of course not."
He does credit Brit's dad with making "smart" moves concerning his daughter's career and lifestyle choices, adding that, "Obviously before Jamie, it wasn't a question of what was going to happen – it was a question of when."
Mark also says that, more than anything, Kevin just wants the mother of his children to be happy and healthy, and that, personally, he's looking forward to the resolution of Kevin and Britney's custody case. "I look forward to the time when I can be bored," MVK joked.
"I will always love the mothers of my children, and I will always be there for both of them. I believe that any good energy I put out there brings more good energy into my own life. The relationships with my kids and family will last my whole life and are the most important to me."
-- Kevin Federline, to In Touch Weekly, on ex-wives Britney Spears and Shar Jackson
Who wrote that for him?
While ex Ryan Phillippe talks openly about how, though he likes Reese Witherspoon's new love, Jake Gyllenhaal, he would rather not see pictures of them together, Reese revels in her solid relationship with Jake.
Us Weekly's new issue takes on the quiet love story that is Gyllenspoon, reporting that Jake's family would do back flips to see these two tie the knot, how Reese and Ryan's kids dig their mom's new man, and details on the couple's secret love hideaway.
Reads like a freakin' Harlequin -- I'm surprised Fabio isn't on the cover.
We can all finally stop talking about the micro-marriage of Pam Anderson and Rick Salomon, as their marriage has been annulled.
Both parties have cited "fraud" as their reason for wanting the annulment, but neither explained their reasoning. I say, who cares? Pam will just be married again in a year, while Rick is probably putting the finishing touches on their sex tape as we speak.
In the words of another of Pam's exes, Tommy Lee, and his band, Motley Crue, I offer this advice: Don't go away mad, just go away.
There's no party like a K-Fed party, obviously. The ex Mr. Britney Spears, Kevin Federline, took to Las Vegas to celebrate turning the big 3-0 Friday night, and was greeted, almost immediately upon entering Pure nightclub, by his other ex wife, Shar Jackson.
Kev partied with Shar and another 20 pals, including his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan (weird), dancing on couches and drinking Jack Daniels. At on point, he even treated the crowd to, what People.com describes as, a "profanity-laced speech," in which he told all the partygoers to "have a good time". Then he said, "I lost my voice at the craps tables and I lost all my money," before a friend had the good sense to get him away from the microphone.
A tad bit too much JD, huh?
Kevin left the club around 2, and was headed back home to his boys on Saturday, who had spent the night with the nanny.
Ryan Phillippe gave Howard Stern quite the interview Thursday morning, chock full of the questions we wanted answered. And, surprisingly, Ry was pretty open. So, what does he think of the fact that his ex-wife, Reese Witherspoon, looks blissfully in love with fellow movie star Jake Gyllenhaal?
"He's a good dude," the Stop-Loss star said of Jake. "I love her and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is," adding that the couple's split was a "mutual" decision. "Leading up to it, we had been spending so much time apart," he admitted. "That's a huge part of it. There are so many obstacles."
Ryan, now being the hot bachelor he is, has been linked to many of today's biggest names. In particular, one rumored tonsil hockey session with a Miss Britney Spears.
"Not true," the actor said, also denying that he and Ashlee Simpson hooked up. "Again, not true," he shot down. "I stood next to her at a place called Les Deux, a club in Los Angeles."
He does admit that, though he didn't have sex with his I Know What You Did Last Summer co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt back in the day, it did cross his mind.
"It did occur to me," he said. "She was very young and her mother was there all the time... but I was in a hot tub with her when she was 18."
What about Angelina Jolie, who he shot a sex scene with for their film Playing By Heart?
Ry admits that Angie was "probably" the hottest person he ever got intimate with on-screen.
"Is she very sexual?" Howard (stupidly) asked. "I would think so, yeah," Ry said.
Finally, Howard had to throw a LiLo question in there -- I mean, she's been connected to everyone at some point.
"I know Lindsay Lohan wanted you," Howard sort of asked.
"Yeah," Ryan said.
Well, nobody ever said he was modest. Unfortunately he didn't go into any further detail on that one, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm glad we got the juice we did.

BJS has been ordered by a judge to pay $375,000 to`Mark Vincent Kaplan, a.k.a. Kevin Federline's lawyer. The fees accumulated from all the trips to court that the attorneys had to make, concerning the custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James, mostly because of Britney's crazy antics.
MVK originally asked for $500,000 -- so I guess Britney got off pretty good, but she's also got her own bills to pay. Sources say she owes her peeps over $600,000.
At least she's working again. Maybe she'll decide to be a sitcom actress for good and leave all that pop star nonsense behind. It's not the worst job in the world, that's for sure.
As a tribute to Heath Ledger, his fellow actors opened up to the April issue of Interview magazine, about what the talent was really like.
In her first interview since his death, Michelle Williams, Heath's former fiancée and mother to his child, refers to her ex as "vulnerable."
"I think the interesting thing about Heath, which maybe people have only really fully discovered in his death, is how vulnerable he was,” Michelle said. “You can pick it up on it in his performances, but it’s easy to overlook because he was so physical and beautiful and strong and masculine, but there was always that underlying sensitivity. That’s who he was.”
Michelle said Heath, who died on a an accidental overdose of prescription meds, including sleep aids, always had trouble shutting his thoughts off. “For as long as I’d known him, he had bouts with insomnia,” she says. “He had too much energy. His mind was turning, turning turning — always turning.”
“He had a talent for everything that he put his mind to," she remembered. "He didn’t know limits."
Nick Lachey wants his fame live forever. The former Newlyweds star is headed back to reality television, but he won't be the main focus this time. Instead, Nick is putting together a pilot for MTV, which the network describes as a version of the fabulous movie-turned-television-show Fame.
Nick will be the executive producer on the project, which will take place at his high school alma mater, the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati.
So, will there be dancing on the tables of the cafeteria and back flips in the schoolyard? Oh yeah.
“The stories and relationships are all set to music that’s organic to what’s going on in the school and also performed by the kids,” an executive at MTV told the Hollywood Reporter. “This is a genre-busting, creative experiment that I’m really excited about.”
I was a HUGE Fame fan, so I am psyched to see if Nick can really pull off the greatness. I'm rooting for him, though. We're all well-aware of how his last foray into reality TV turned out (Hi, Jessica) -- so let's hope he's got better luck this time.
And there's one very important thing Nick needs to keep in mind:
"Fame costs -- and right here is where you start paying -- in sweat."
It's official -- I'm so over Justin Timberlake.
The singer was on hand to introduce Madonna at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony last night, as he used his time at the podium to take some shots at former girlfriend Britney Spears.
"She has still found time to kiss someone I may or may not have publicly kissed myself while I was in the audience,” JT said of the Material Girl. “Of course you know I was talking about Sean Penn."
Not bad, right? But then he continued, "The world has always been full of Madonna wannabes and I might have even dated a couple."
Okay, so he didn't say anything really terrible, but I just find it in bad taste after all Britney has been through, and since she is trying so hard to get better these days. Justin's cocky speech just made him look like an insensitive loser.
I thought he was better than that.
John Mayer is an odd bird. The singer, who has dated Jessica Simpson, Cameron Diaz and, most recently, Friday Night Lights's Minka Kelly, says on his website that he has written some new lyrics to a song, in the form of a letter to an ex-lover. He does warn readers not to "read too far into this on a personal level. (There are no hidden messages)... I just thought it sums up how crazy love can be."
Here it is:
Dear Ex Lover,
Perhaps you didn't understand the last time I told you to stop contacting me, so I'll do my best to spell it out for you. I do not wish to have you in my life anymore. I don't know how much more clear I can be about it. It would serve you best to move on with your life and find someone who can put up with you, because I'm done trying.
I hope this is enough closure for you.
Goodbye.P.S. If you need me, you know how to find me.
It's funny, because it is so true. But it does make me wonder if he was inspired by one of his exes. My guess would be Minka, considering John dropped her like a bad habit right before New Years, but maybe this is something somebody said to him?
Anyway, I'll try not to read too much into it, like he advised, but John has a way of always piquing my interest and wondering what's going on in that cute head of his.

While some sets of celebrity exes find away to get along and actually (gasp!) like each other (hello, Demi & Bruce), others would like to, basically, rip each other's throats out.
Enter feuding foes Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards who just can't seem to stop the hating. Recently, some crazy judge ruled that Denise could parade around her two young girls, Sam and Lola, on a new reality show -- even though Charlie was totally against it. But Denise says that her ex isn't really looking out for the well-being of their daughters, he just wants to stick it to her.
"This is the first time I've publicly commented on one of his attacks," Denise told In Touch Weekly, "But I need to take a stand at some point. He's such an angry person. This court battle wasn't about our girls on the show, it was him battling me. He wasn't trying to protect the kids at all."
Denise insists that Charlie just wanted to use the reality show as leverage to change their custody agreement --which didn't happen "He lost. So now he wants my show to fail," Denise claims.
What a bunch of wackadoos.
The still-gorgeous Demi Moore poses, in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, with her and Bruce Willis' three daughters, Rumer,19, Scout, 16, and Tallulah,14. Demi's young husband, Ashton Kutcher also gets his say in the interview, and here's what you'll learn from reading it: They really are so freakin' happy.
Here's some excerpts:
Demi on introducing Ashton to the girls: “I didn’t bring somebody into their lives lightly. I looked at Ashton and thought, he’s 25 [he’s now 30]; it’s a lot to ask. Being with me isn’t about just being in a relationship with me; it’s about someone stepping into a situation where there is already a huge level of responsibility.”
Ashton on getting in with the girls: At first, I didn’t know how it was all going to play out, but everything fell into place. We all support each other. I’m occasionally overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity.
Ashton on how he feels that the kids say they love and admire him as much as their biological dad:
"I am eternally grateful for having them in my life. That makes me want to cry and hug them and cry a little bit more.”
Ashton on how he and Bruce became friends: "He’s a great guy. Guy guys make great friends. I just had to get over my ego, which was screaming, ‘This guy used to sleep with your woman,’ and I listened instead to the little voice inside that was whispering, ‘This guy loves and cares about your woman.’ Once I did that, it was a cakewalk.”
Tallulah on how she dealt with Demi and Ashton’s relationship: "I was in fourth grade, so it didn’t hit me as much as it did Scout and Rumer. But it still hit me a little, and it still does now. I find it weird that people think my stepdad is hot.”
Tallulah on her mom, dad and stepdad being good friends: “I love it. We are one big family. Late at night, after a long day, we can sit around and laugh with each other.”
I believe it!
Australian model Sophie Monk isn't holding her tongue about the passionate (and very sudden) coupling of her ex Benji Madden and his new love, Paris Hilton. Just two weeks after Benji and Sophie put an end to their engagement plans -- and their entire relationship -- the Good Charlotte rocker has been seen attached at Paris' hip. So what does his ex think about it?
"Let me make this as plain as possible – Benji did not leave me for Paris Hilton," Sophie said in a statement, according to Australia's Herald Sun. "Benji and I did not break up badly or anything like that. We both decided, as adults, our relationship had run its course and decided to move on. I feel no animosity towards Benji and Paris at all and am very happy with life at the moment."
Womp, womp -- taking the high road. Good for her and all, but I wish she would have said what she really thinks.
To make matters worse, Paris is flaunting a new ring on her engagement finger. I just can't.
Our girl Kate Hudson is on the cover of the of the April issue of Elle, and inside, the rumored man-killer reveals that there is one special guy that will always have her heart.
"Whatever man I end up with, I will always love Chris," the actress admitted, of her ex-husband and father of her son, Black Crowes' Chris Robinson.
I'm not going to say it, but you know what I'm thinking...
This should be juicy.
Marc Anthony's beauty queen ex-wife, Dayanara Torres, is reportedly in the midst of penning a nasty little memoir about how Marc dumped her for Jennifer Lopez.
Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce, is the very self-help-like title of the book, supposedly guiding you to find happiness again, after your husband leaves you for the superstar he had always been in love with.
There's certainly no love lost between Marc and Dayanara, so me thinks the singer is not exactly going to come out smelling like a rose this time.
That Diddy! He's so thoughtful. The rap mogul-turned-serious actor is keeping ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez in mind, since she delivered her brand new twin babies last week. Sean, who also has twins, told People.com that he is just thrilled for Jen, and is planning on sending her some very personal gifts.
"I'm going to send her some Sean John baby clothes," he said. "I'm so happy for her. It's such a blessing."
Really, Diddy? You are going to spend a total of zero dollars on Jen and Marc's new babies, and have one of your loyal minions send the new parents clothes with YOUR NAME on them?
Splendid. I'm sure Marc Anthony will quickly toss those duds in the Diaper Genie.
