Minnie Driver is staying mum on the identity of her baby. All she's saying is that the baby is not the man the press has been speculating about -- Craig Zolezzi. According to Minnie, he's just a great friend of hers.
So who is the babydaddy? Minnie won't say. In the past she's joked that the Easter Bunny fathered the child, but we're pretty sure that's not true!
Minne's being very respectful about the whole ordeal, saying, "I want to shield the baby's dad as much as I can because it wasn't his choice to get roped into all this stuff."
As much as us gossip lovers would love to know, I think Minnie's doing the right thing.
About 30 women attended the baby shower, where Jamie Lynn was said to have opened every gift (who wouldn't?), while her mom and her future mother-in-law (babydaddy Casey Aldridge's mom) helped out.
Though it was meant to be a "normal" baby shower, sheriff's deputies were standing at the gate and paparazzi helicopters circled above the event. Very normal indeed.
I would use some french words in this post, except for the fact that I took spanish in high school and I don't know more than "mon cheri" and that line from "Lady Marmalade," so you'll have to deal with english.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrived in France, where they will stay until the new Brangatot arrives. The family is currently living in Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen's, Villa Maryland in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera.

"It's a breathtaking villa with views out over the Mediterranean [Sea] and they have roughly 12 staff on hand at all times to get them anything they need," a source told E! Online. "They've stayed there before and love the house, it's very private and no one can see in."
The couple plan to stay there until they find the perfect place for their brood to reside and wait for the latest additions to arrive.
"They love France and will now be here until after the babies are born and Angie is looking at Marseille hospitals as a potential place to give birth."
Did that source say "babies" with an "s"? Do you wish Brad & Angie would just stay in France forever? Talk back!

According to People.com, the new addition will be bringing good karma to all this fall. It will be the first child for the couple together, but the second for Jason, who has a four-year-old son, Pilot Inspektor (totally not kidding) with his ex-wife, Beth Riesgraf.

Ellen DeGeneres pulled no punches when she flat-out asked Ashlee Simpson if she was expecting, during a taping of El's talk show Wednesday.
"Are you or are you not pregnant?" Ellen asked.
That's right, El -- don't stand for her crap!
But Ash stuck to her guns, saying, "Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is something that I choose personally not to discuss."
Then she put the capital "A" in annoying when she added, "Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something?" addressing the audience and standing up. "Because I don't think I do."
Ellen then asked if Ashley planned on keeping the world in suspense as long as Jennifer Lopez did. To which the newly-engaged singer said she wouldn't. "I swear. I promise you that. I give you my pinky on that."
Good for Ellen for not dancing around the topic (it's so not her style -- well, dancing is, but you know what I mean) -- bad for Ash for stretching this out to the point where the world is about to stop caring.
Um, here's Ashlee Simpson on the cover of the May issue of Shape.
"I never thought I'd be on the cover of a magazine in a bikini," Mrs. Pete Wentz-to-be tells the mag.
Ash says she's been working out with a trainer two to three times a week and has revamped her diet, eating yogurt and granola for breakfast, turkey or veggie wraps for lunch and lean proteins like fish and chicken for dinner.
"I try to listen to what my body craves," she said. "Sometimes it tells me to eat more fruit, but sometimes it tells me to eat Skittles!"

Ugly Betty's Daniel, Eric Mabius, and his wife, interior designer Ivy Sherman, have revealed that they are expecting their second child.

Hottie actor Mark Wahlberg and his fiancée of four years, Rhea Durham, are expecting their third child together. According to OK!, Mark's pal blabbed the news that the couple will be welcoming a boy into their family this fall.
"Mark is thrilled to be having another baby," said the insider. "He is an amazing dad, and his two children are his world. He always used to joke about wanting at least a dozen kids, but it looks like he wasn't joking after all."
The family man already has daughter Ella Rae, 4, and a son, Michael, 2.

That's why she's a genius. Maybe this whole pregnancy thing is just a publicity stunt, maybe it's not. But whoever is telling her to keep the world guessing is going to be responsible for her album sales. Girl hasn't seen this much publicity since her lip synching/hoe-down dance fiasco on SNL.
Ashlee Simpson continued to be coy about the possibility that she and new hubby-to-be Pete Wentz are expecting a baby, when she appeared on The Today Show this morning.
When Matt Lauer asked about the rumors (he obviously had to), Ash simply said, "Time will tell," then said she was, however, "giving birth to her new album."

According to reports, Jamie Lynn Spears and her babydaddy/fiancé, Casey Aldridge, have been house-hunting together in Mississippi. The couple, who will be welcoming their first child this summer, have already made an offer on a three-bedroom house in the town of Liberty. Their new abode will have a loft, marble floors, a remodeled kitchen and a game room.
"Jamie Lynn is really excited over having a home of her own," an insider said.
At least these kids are making an honest go at being family. I have my doubts that this will last forever, but wouldn't it be nice if it did?
Contrary to recent online reports, a rep for Spiderman's Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer says that the couple are not expecting a second little web-slinger.
In Touch claimed they had the "world exclusive" on Tuesday, saying that Jen is pregnant and the couple, who wed last year, will welcome baby No. 2 later this year. They currently have one daughter, Ruby, 17 months.

Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz was quick to react to the breaking news that his new fiancée, Ashlee Simpson, is expecting a baby.
"There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood," Pete wrote in an email to MTV News. "This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover."
"I mean really, this is crazy...I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."
When asked specifically if he was denying that Ash was with child, Pete replied, "Yeah."
But, in addition to Us Weekly saying they have confirmation that there is a baby on the way, sources over at E! News also claim to have gotten the good word from reputable sources. The insider said, "It's very early" in the pregnancy, and that Pete and Ash just told their families last week. Then, this past weekend, they told a couple of more people, who, apparently, told some other people, who leaked it to the press.
Coincidentally, Ashlee's new album, Bittersweet World, is coming out April 22. Do you think this could be a publicity stunt?
I understand that this is the obvious story to come immediately after last week's big news that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are engaged, but UsMagazine.com is saying that a very good source confirmed that Ash and Pete are expecting their first child together.
They usually don't use the word "confirm" unless they really know.
Still, a rep for Pete & Ash told the mag, "We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple. Beyond that there is nothing to say."
Maybe they haven't broken the news to Ash's dad, Joe Simpson, who is going to FREAK.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have just bought a brand new home. The couple, who are expecting their first child together in July, have shelled out about $7 million dollars for a place in Los Angeles.
What does one get for that kind of scratch? Well, the Kidman-Urban 5,600 square foot abode has five bedrooms, is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, features rolling lawns, boasts koi ponds and city views. Not to shabby, huh?
And the best part (I guess) is that the couple's new digs are just a hop, skip, and a jump from Nic's ex-husband's place. Yup, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes live right down the block, so Tom and Nicole's kids, Connor and Isabella, won't have far too far to travel when they want to see their new baby sibling.

Yes, folks, it's true. You can all rest easy now, knowing that Jamie Lynn Spears is, indeed, engaged to her babydaddy, Casey Aldridge.
"He proposed a few days ago, and she accepted," Casey's cousin, Tina Robinson, confirmed to UsMagazine.com. “They probably weren’t expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up,” she said.

Tina said she hasn't had the pleasure of seeing the engagement rock, and wasn't sure if the teens would marry before or after the little one arrives.

Boxing badass Laila Ali is expecting a little fighter! She and her husband, former NFL star Curtis Conway, have confirmed to Essence magazine that are, indeed, getting ready for a new arrival.
"I don't know yet if we are having a boy or a girl, but I'm excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created," Ali says in the May issue.
This will be Laila's first child and her hubby's fourth!

So says People.com, who is reporting that Britney's little sis is sporting a brand new ring, courtesy of her bf.
"She has been flashing the rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi," a source close to the family tells the mag.
Jamie is rumored to be expecting a boy this summer. No word on if she and Casey plan to marry before or after the kid gets here. Personally I think they should wait until after the baby is born, so JL can at least drink at her own wedding. Oh wait -- she's only 16. Silly me.
Say what you want about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but they certainly put their money where their mouth is.
According to federal tax filings, Brangelina have donated over $4 million each to their foundation in 2006. According to UsMagazine.com, half of the donation came from sale of their baby photos. Whattaya have to say about that?
So, where does the money from their joint foundation go? Well, a bunch of places -- $2.4 million, including $1 million gifts, went to Doctors Without Borders and the Global AIDS Alliance; $137,935 to the Namibia Red Cross Action Program; $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation; and $100,000 to the Epidermolysis Bulloma Medical Research Foundation. The couple are also involved in helping rebuild the Gulf Coast.
Not to shabby, eh? Whatever has happened in the past, Brad & Angie are now setting a stellar example for their children -- and their babies on the way.
