Got damage control?
Here's Miley Cyrus' new ad for milk. Fully-clothed and sporting the infamous white mustache, Miley regains her place as "the girl as wholesome as the moo juice she drinks" with these inspiring words:
"Actress by day. Rocker by night. I've got to keep fit to keep up. So I drink milk. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk over sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. It's the best of both worlds."
Is everybody happy now?
Saturday night the semi-naked pop star (okay, fine, she was dressed for this) performed at a Disney-sponsored concert in Orlando, where she thanked her fans for support.
Before starting her set, she told fans:
"First of all, I think all of us here can say thank you. I can't think of how many would stand in the rain to come in here. Thank you all for coming out tonight, you're all amazing."
Then, at the end of her performance she pointed to a fan's sign and said:
"And I see a sign back there with my name on it that says, 'Miley, I'm praying for you,' and I could not be more appreciative of that."
Well, what better way to make up for your scantily clad photos than to appear at Disney with the two happiest creatures on Earth -- Minnie and Mickey?
Barbara Walters is shaking things up!
Babs has a new book coming out -- it's called Audition -- and it's filled with her memoirs, which apparently include a secret affair she had in the '70s with a married senator. Barbara tells Oprah (of course), in a show set to air on Tuesday, that she and Sen. Edward Brooke were freakin' in the bedroom for years! The rascally View host called her lover "exciting" and "brilliant", and admitted to Ops that she had it bad. "I was certainly infatuated ... It was exciting times in Washington."
Barbara was an up-and-coming journalist, who was scared that, if word of the affair hit the press, all of her hard work would be for nothing.
"This is going to come out," she said a friend warned her. "This is going to ruin your career ... This is going to ruin him. You've got to break this off.'"
Huh -- it's hard to picture Barbara Walters as a seductive temptress looking for a thrill, but it's a nice reminder that she is human. I may even read this now...
Uh-oh. When one person accuses you of something, it's your word against theirs but, when a second person comes forward and accuses you of the same thing, the tide begins to turn.
Rob Lowe's wife Sheryl is now being accused of sexual harassment by a second former nanny. According to People.com, Laura Boyce, who worked for the couple for seven months in 2007, says the actor's wife created an "extremely sexually offensive and hostile work environment ... behaving in a ... perverted, disgusting and crude manner."
Sheryl also allegedly "walked around naked, completely exposing herself" to the kiddie caretaker, and asked Laura about her sexual relationship with her boyfriend -- and NBA player -- who Sheryl also used the "n" word to describe at one time. The nanny says Sheryl was completely inappropriate at times, often talking about her own sex life with Rob.
An attorney for the Lowes says the lawsuit "seeks to drag (Lowe's) wife and children into the fray" with "false allegations."
Rob filed preemptive lawsuits against Laura and two other ex-employees earlier this month, after claiming his family was being targeted in a $1.5 million extortion scheme, headed up by nanny No. 1, Jessica Gibson.
Who do you believe?
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz is defending her photo of Miley Cyrus, that is causing quite the uproar.
“I'm sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted," she said in a statement, of the photos she shot for Vanity Fair. "Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together, and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”
Miley herself is making a big deal out the photos, along with seemingly everyone else in the world, saying that she was "embarrassed" by the final product. The Disney Channel is going even further, claiming that Vanity Fair "manipulated" the fifteen-year-old, to which the magazine adamantly denies.
"Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day," a rep for the mag said. "Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley."
Personally, I think this whole thing has been blown out of proportion (see the New York Post cover above). I think the photos are fine -- not raunchy, not provocative, just fine. My problem is Miley's backpedaling. She did the shoot, she probably loved the photo, but now, because it's ruffled some feathers, she is saying she's ashamed of them. It's crap.
And here's Miley, apologizing profusely for a set of photos in Vanity Fair, where she appears to have posed topless.
"My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."
Also addressing the recent photos swirling around the internet, in which the Hannah Montana star poses provocatively with a boy -- and shows some skin -- Miley says she's just a kid who's bound to mess up every now and then.
"The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone. Most of all," she says, "I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey."
Disney says Miley was mislead by Vanity Fair, accusing them of exploiting their star and just trying to sell magazines, while VF says Miley's parents were on set and knew exactly what they were shooting.
So, is Miley just doing damage control to protect her good girl image? Is there a little bit of LiLo or a Brit Brit inside of her, waiting to let loose? You can still get in on the bet....
Seriously, what is the deal with Amy Winehouse?
According to People.com, British police are looking into the claim that the beehive-haired singer attacked some guy early Wednesday morning.
"Police are investigating an alleged assault on Chalk Farm Road at approximately 3:20 am on April 23," says a Metropolitan Police spokesman. "A 38-year-old man [contacted] Kentish Town police station and alleged a 24-year-old woman had assaulted him. No arrests have been made as yet but inquiries continue."
The Sun says Amy head-butted the man outside of bar when he tried to hail her a taxi and show photos of the loony lady walking into a lamppost.
She head-butted some guy? That's some crazy...
Rob Lowe's former nanny has filed a lawsuit against the actor, claiming he repeatedly exposed and touched himself in front of her. Jessica Gibson, 24, who worked for Rob and his wife on and off for seven years, also claims that the Brothers & Sister's star touched her inappropriately, and that Sheryl Lowe would prance around the house naked, make vulgar comments, and would discuss her sex life with Rob to the nanny.
The lawsuit, which was filed Monday in a Santa Barbara court, alleges that Rob, "placed his hand inside Gibson's pants" several times from about Sept. 2005 to around Jan. 2008, and that he allegedly grabbed her butt without her consent.
Jessica was on the Today show this morning, telling her side of the story, and Rob's lawyer was on hand to read a statement on his client's behalf:
"Ms. Gibson's older sister worked for the Lowes for 7 years. Ms. Gibson worked for the Lowes on and off for 7 years. She left at least 2 times, to pursue other jobs, and returned each time asking for more hours. She sent 2 emails the day after she left, both saying she loved the Lowes and her leaving had nothing to do with them but her heart wasn't into being a nanny anymore. This is totally inconsistent with her latest allegations. An investigation of dozens of present and former employees has failed to find one single person to verify her allegations. The allegations in the complain are simply untrue."
The nanny's lawyer, Gloria Allred, replied, "We don't think so."
So, if it was so bad at the Lowe residence, why did Jessica keep coming back? "I love the children," Jessica said. "I needed the job. I thought it would get better, and I was scared."
Rob knew this was coming and wrote a warning to his former employee, in The Huffington Post, telling her not to mess with his family. I guess she didn't listen.
Rob Lowe is steaming mad. The actor says that an ex-employee of his is trying to extort money from his family, by threatening to spill some nasty (and false) secrets about him and his wife. Rob says the former family babysitter is demanding $1.5 million from the actor and his wife "or she will accuse us both of a vicious laundry list of false terribles."
In an article from The Huffington Post, Rob warns the unnamed woman -- and anyone else who's thinking about taking him on -- that he won't stand for their antics. "My family is devastated at this betrayal; this woman worked in our home and traveled with us off and on for seven years, without complaint," he says. "It is an attempt to damage and humiliate not only my wife and me, but our two young sons as well. No one intimidates my family."
Nice! You go, Rob. Kinda sexy.
Well, I guess I owe Tony Parker and Eva Longoria Parker an apology, as well.
When the story broke that San Antonio Spurs player Tony was allegedly having an affair with a French model, which he denied, I totally jumped on board and believed that Eva's hubby was a player in the true sense of the word. But photo agency X-17, who first released the tale, is now apologizing for saying that Tony had begun romancing Alexandra Paressant, after meeting her on his wedding day.
"X17online.com and X17, Inc. regret having been misled by Ms. Paressant and her representatives, and apologize to Mr. Parker for any damage or inconvenience this may have caused him or his wife."
Eva and Tony had taken out a lawsuit against the photo agency, but I doubt this measly statement is going to fix that.
Uh, sorry, Tony.

I have to hand it to UsMagazine.com. The website got Perez Hilton to take a lie detector test and answer questions regarding the night he says he and John Mayer got their kiss on.
Perez answered a number of questions truthfully -- including ones about whether he used his tongue in the kiss, if he enjoyed it and if Jessica Simpson was really rubbing John's crotch while it was happening. The only thing he lied about was whether or not he was taking the test for publicity. The gossip monger said "no," but the test proved he was fibbing. No shocker there.
At the end of the video, Perez challenged John, whose rep said the story was "ridiculous," to take the same test. I can't wait to see what John has to say about this on his blog!
Touching on the fact that Ryan had played a gay teen on the soap One Life to Live, Jay proceeded to ask the actor, "Can you give me, like – say that camera is your gay lover... Can you give me your 'gayest look?'
"Say that camera is Billy Bob – Billy Bob has just ridden in shirtless from Wyoming," Jay went on, as Ryan looked like he wanted to run (watch it here).
"Wow," Ryan finally said. "That is so something I don't want to do."
Playwright Jeff Whitty, who is openly gay, was in the audience for the debacle, and the Avenue Q creator later blogged about It. "Would you ask a guest to make their 'blackest face?' Their 'Jewiest face?' Why not?"
Good point -- this is why we watch Letterman.
Seriously? It might not get more pathetic than this.
According to TMZ.com, The Hills ditz Audrina Patridge was so unhappy with the nude photos of her that were, somehow, leaked right before the show's premiere, that she has just posed for a slew of new ones!
I kid you not -- check out the gallery here.
What can you even say about this? I'm at a loss...
"She's young, she did her thing, whatever. She looks good. Her body is bangin'!"
-- Former Laguna Beach hottie, Kristin Cavallari, on Audrina Patridge's "artistic", Catholic-school girl nude photos
It's a freakin' sex tape/nude picture free-for-all these days. Alas, a new still shot has hit the web and people are clamoring that the stars of the new video are Lindsay Lohan and her ex-boyfriend, Calum Best.
The grainy photo (see it here), which is rumored to have been shot with Calum's cell phone (how classy), depicts a woman, who resembles LiLo, um, mouthing off, if you catch my drift. Cal's publicist denies that it's his client in said picture. "Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not Calum in the tape," the rep told Usmagazine.com, but Lindsay's rep didn't return calls. People close to Linds are publicly denying that it's Lindsay do the deed, but privately? They are totally snickering that it is her!
Hey, at this point having a sex tape in Hollywood is as common as having an agent, and nobody, I mean nobody, would be surprised if Lindsay had more than one in her library.
"I intended them to be artistic and not in any way provocative"
--- Audrina Patridge, on her MySpace celebrity blog, about her hills-baring naked photos that are all over the internet
Though Kristin Davis' rep swears that those X-rated photos are not of the actress, the Sex and the City star's former boyfriend begs to differ. Eric Stapleman told TMZ he took the photos of his then-girlfriend in 1992, and sold them after he and Kristin got into a fight. The buyer says that the photos were then stolen from him.
Well, that's just, ahem, bum luck.
The good news for Kristin is that word is there is no video, like originally thought. And this is all relevant if, and only if, the photos are really her -- which we don't know for sure (they are).

I refuse to believe these nasty rumors about one Drew Lachey.
Tabloids are reporting that Nick's bro had an affair with his Dancing With the Stars' partner, Cheryl Burke. Say isn't so -- and they did. Drew's rep says these stories of the couple doing the horizontal Hora are "completely false and cannot be further from the truth." A rep for Cheryl adds, "The story that Cheryl is involved with Drew Lachey started two years ago when they were partners on Dancing with the Stars. It wasn't true then and it isn't true now."
A source close to the show also called the report "untrue and irresponsible."
I have always loved Drew -- ever since he was just Nick's brother on Newlyweds. He and his wife seem so happy! And they have that baby! I hate that they make me doubt you, Drew!
Nothing ever came of the sex tape rumors regarding The Hills star Lauren Conrad, but there is no denying that her faithful sidekick, Audrina Patridge, got naked for the camera. New photos have surfaced of Audrina -- and girl is showing off her hills.
The reality TV star had reportedly taken these photos after graduating from high school -- in hopes of getting a gig with Playboy. Well, that photo spread never quite came to pass, but the photos are back (you nasty little devils can see them here)!
Audrina has released this statement to TMZ.com regarding the nakedness:
"I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn't know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me."
You know what I hear? Naked, naked, naked, naked, naked. Interesting that the new season of The Hills starts Monday. Hmmm.....
Not our Charlotte!
According to TMZ.com, there a bunch of very new, very dirty photos of one Sex and the City star Kristin Davis floating around town. The website says there are about 20 pics that allegedly show Kristin (or her doppelganger) in some interesting positions with an ex-boyfriend. Said photos were supposedly taken five years ago -- and are stills from a sex tape!
A rep for the actress says that there is no way that the nasty little vixen in the pics are her client. "This is not a photo of Kristin Davis. There is no sex tape," she told UsMagazine.com
The pics could be Photoshopped, but imagine they weren't? That Charlotte's been spending too much around Samantha.
David Hernandez will not be getting booted from American Idol -- at least not by the show's producers.
The story broke yesterday that David was a former nude dancer at a male strip club, before he appeared on Idol, but show execs say they don't care.
“The truth is we’re never judgmental about what people do to earn a living. They’ve gotta put food in people’s mouths,” Idol’s executive producer, Ken Warwick, told TVGuide.com. “If it were some sort of heavy porn, then maybe we’d have to take action. But certainly not on this.”
As for America, if they should be swayed by the guy's past profession, there's not much the show can do about it. "As for how his past could influence his future," Ken said, “If there’s a stretch of the public that thinks, ‘Oh, dear, he was a male stripper, I’m not gonna vote for him,’ then that’s the luck of the draw.”
Okay, fine. Here's what I want to discuss. Did anyone else hear Simon say something regarding David's stripping immediately after the guy finished his performance last night? While the audience was applauding, the judge's microphones went on and I swear Simon said something like, "Tell him you liked the way he stripped it down."
Seriously, I had to rewind it twice but I'm pretty sure that's what I heard. Anyone else?
UPDATE: TMZ.com just posted the video from last night's show and Simon definitely took a shot at David!
Don't the people who try out for American Idol know that if they've done something dirty in the past, it's so coming back to bite them in the ass? Right, Antonella Barba?
Finalist David Hernandez, a good-looking, sort of vanilla-type (or so it seemed) guy has been outed by his former boss. It seems Dave burned the midnight oil as a nude dancer in a gay club! Love it!
Gordy Bryan of Dick's Cabaret (I kid you not) blabbed to the Associated Press that Dave was a crowd favorite. “He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here," the snitch said. And David reportedly didn't quit his work until two months after his first Idol audition.
Ruh-roh, George.
So, will David get the boot for his previous line of work? It remains to be seen. As of now, he's scheduled to sing with the rest of the boys on Tuesday night.
I couldn't care less what he did before -- unless he was some kind of axe murderer. As long as he didn't break any laws, I say let him go on. Maybe he'll strip if he gets to the finale...
Sam Lufti had better start saying some prayers.
Lynne Spears filed court papers accusing Sam of drugging daughter Britney Spears during the time he was her "manager" (which led to the restraining order against him), and now Los Angeles police say they are looking into allegations that "someone" was slipping something into Brit's applesauce.
Though the LAPD says they have not decided whether to open a formal investigation -- and no suspects have been named -- Police Capt. Kyle Jackon said in a statement Wednesday that the allegations “are being considered” by the Robbery-Homicide unit to determine if laws have been violated.
This is so crazy! Imagine if Britney was really being drugged all of that time we thought she had just lost her marbles? I know we thought that the pop star could have been on drugs, but to be actually be drugged is whole new ballgame.
Investigate, investigate!
The Hogan divorce has turned quite ugly and, although I had originally hoped Hulk and Linda would find their way through this tough time, it's not looking like it's moving in that direction.
I'm disappointed to tell you that Hulk is being outed for having an alleged affair with one of his daughter's good friends! The dalliance, with a girl who was working with Brooke Hogan on her last album, supposedly took place last year, while the family was filming Hogan knows Best.
Where was the footage of that?
Anyway, the chick has sold her story to The National Enquirer.
"My relationship with Terry [Hulk Hogan] began at a time when Terry and Linda privately knew their marriage was ending," Christiane Plante, 33, told the rag. "She had left him already, although no official papers had been filed. Terry is a good man, good father and a good friend, and he and I grew close at a time when he was going through a very difficult period. It seemed right then, but I know it was wrong."
"Having felt the guilt and pain build up, I gave a note to Brooke apologizing for my actions. I will never be able to fully forgive myself for this. I have lost an amazing friend."
Brooke is reportedly completely torn up about this, while Linda is probably nursing her broken heart, by counting all the cash she is about to get from the wrestler.
Doesn't seem like the people with the most money are the ones who are always counting every penny?
Elizabeth Hurley and her gazillionaire husband, Arun Nayar, are being accused of completely low-balling their maid/nanny. Violet D'Souza has filed legal papers saying that the couple paid her as little as $2.33 an hour for as many as 70 hours of work a week in their home in London. And they allegedly paid her in the Indian currency of rupees!
Just so you know, in Britain, the legal minimum wage is $10.71. We should all go work there!
Liz and Arun's former employee was set to take her case to an employment tribunal - but the hearing was canceled when the maid was reportedly offered a five-figure settlement.
Five-figures? Don't settle for anything less that six. At least.
