Jeez, I hope his brain didn't fall out.

Jon Gosselin needed to get his noggin stitched up yesterday, after a minor kitchen mishap.

"He hit his head opening a kitchen cabinet door in the dark," his rep told UsMagazine.com. "But he's OK now."

The dad of eight got stitches along his eyebrow -- which will surely scar a la Luke Perry -- and make him even more irresistible to the ladies

Hee hee.

Ouch!

George Clooney is working with one hand these days, as the actor crushed his gorgeous little fingers in a, um, car accident.

"There was an accident and he did break his hand," George's rep Stan Rosenfield said Thursday. "He was not riding a motorcycle, it was not in Switzerland ... He was on his property in Italy and he shut the car door on his hand."

Previous reports stated that the movie man was on his bike with new love Elisabetta Canalis in Switzerland when the mishap occurred.

Georgie boy was briefly hospitalized in the neutral country, but he's going to be just fine.

"The doctor has given him 30-40 years more to live, and no live animals were harmed during the wrapping of the hand," the rep joked. "The only reason he went to the hospital was to get a temporary cast put on."

Well, if George needs any help washing his back in the shower, I would be more than happy to step up and help. Call me.

Actress Parker Posey has had to pull out of a recent project due to an illness.

According to a statement released Wednesday by Playwrights Horizons, the Best in Show actress would not be able to perform in the new stage production of This "due to developing a case of Lyme disease."

Lyme disease is usually contracted by a tick bite and is highly treatable with antibiotics but, if it's not taken care of in a timely manner, could lead to heart, brain, and nerve damage.

Here's hoping she gets well soon.

Bad news, Beastie Boys fans.

A record label rep for the Boys has announced that Adam "MCA" Yuach has been diagnosed with cancer.

"Adam "MCA" Yauch of Beastie Boys was diagnosed last week as having a cancerous tumor in his left parotid (salivary) gland," the statement began. "Luckily it was caught early and is localized in one area, and as such is considered very treatable. It will however require surgery and several weeks of additional treatment."

"Fortunately the cancer is not in a location that will affect Yauch's vocal chords. Beastie Boys have canceled all upcoming concert appearances to allow time for Yauch's surgery and recovery," the statement concluded. "The release of the band's forthcoming album Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 will also be pushed back."

Adam, 44, is keeping his sense of humor and made his own video statement for www.Beastieboys.com, where calls the cancer "a pain in the neck."

It sounds like he's going to be okay. We wish him well.

Production on NBC's new show "Parenthood" has been delayed, as star Maura Tierney faces a medical scare.

"I have discovered a tumor in my breast, which requires surgery," the actress said in a statement. "I will not know either my exact diagnosis or course of treatment until that surgery is performed."

"My doctors have all assured me this is a very treatable condition," her statement continued. "I'm very optimistic as to the outcome and want to thank everyone who has sent positive thoughts and support. I look forward to going back to work soon."

No other details on her condition were given.

Maura's new show was set to premiere on the fall schedule but, since production has been postponed for eight weeks, "Parenthood" will begin midseason.

Let's send Maura our good wishes and thoughts.

After opting to pass on the procedure a few months ago, TV's yum-o chef, Rachael Ray, finally had vocal cord surgery last week.

"After several months of vocal therapy and on the advice of her doctors, Rachael decided to have a benign cyst removed from her vocal cord," says Charlie Dougiello, the cook's rep told People.com. "According to Rachael's doctors the minor, non-invasive procedure was a success and she is already resting at home."

Now, "the hardest part for Rachael is going to be giving her voice a rest for the next week or so," says her mouthpiece.

No kidding -- that chick hardly ever shuts up. I wonder if she's practicing getting her voice back by staring in the mirror and repeating "EVOO" over and over again.

Get well soon, Rach!

And we thought the whole Swine Flu craziness had fallen by the wayside...

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint had been sidelined by the virus but, the magical wizardry has kicked in, and he's almost good as new.

"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," his rep says in a statement. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards."

I'm sure his costars are just thrilled that he's going to be sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with them for 14 hours a day. I, maybe, would give it a little more time....

farrahryan.jpgAs Farrah Fawcett's medical condition worsens, OK! magazine is reporting that the actress is, once again, in the hospital. This time she has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit.

Sources say that both Ryan O'Neal and Farrah's best friend, Alana Stewart were with her when she was admitted to the hospital.

The actress has been battling cancer since her diagnosis in 2006.

It's like one step forward, two steps back for Farrah Fawcett.

A source close to the actress confirms that Farrah is back in the hospital and not doing well. Although it doesn't look like the Angel is getting better, she is scheduled to be released later today.

We just found out this morning that Farrah, who has been battling cancer, and longtime love Ryan O'Neal have plans to marry. Ryan is also trying to get their son, Redmond O'Neal, a temporary pass out of jail so he can visit his mom -- maybe for the last time.

We hope they all get the chance to be together very soon.

Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett are vowing to make their commitment official.

In a new interview with Barbara Walters, Ryan said that, though Farrah is "fighting for her life, I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed."

Farrah's health has been deteriorating as of late, as she continues to battle cancer.

"We will, as soon as she can, say yes," Ryan says of their nuptials. "Maybe we can just nod her head," he said, with a laugh.

These two have been a couple for almost 30 years -- together since 1980.

"I used to ask her to marry me all the time," Ryan revealed  to 20/20. "But ... it just got to be a joke, you know. We just joked about it."

"I promise you, we will," he reiterated. "Absolutely."

I hope they do it soon -- it will be wonderful for them to finally have something to celebrate.

Multiple sources at CBS are reporting that Walter Cronkite is very, very ill.

According to Mediabistro.com, the network has been updating the legendary newsman's obituary for the past week.

Ugh.

The anchor, who was once called the "Most Trusted Man in America", is 92.

When asked in 2006 if he ever thought about his death, Walter responded, "When you get to be 89, you have to think about it a little bit. It doesn't prey on me, and it doesn't keep me awake nights. Occasionally, when I'm upset about something else, I think, 'My gosh, I don't know if I should do this or that because I'm not sure I'll be here that long to enjoy it.'"

His people have no comment.

Reps for Bret Michaels are bashing the Tony awards for their handling of the Poison frontman's injuries at last Sunday's show.

Bret got pretty beaten up -- he suffered a broken nose and a busted his lip -- after he was hit by a set piece after belting out "Nothin' But a Good Time" with the Rock of Ages cast.

"Sunday morning at rehearsals, Bret was never informed that the descending set piece existed, let alone would be moving into position as he was exiting the stage," Janna Elias, the singer's rep, said in the statement to UsMagazine.com. "Although Bret was visibly dazed, he remained extremely calm backstage as members of our road crew brought him a towel to wipe the blood from his face. His only comment at the time was 'What the hell just hit me?' The severity of this injury is not being taken lightly as symptoms from head and neck injuries at first may seem like nothing and sometimes do not present for days. At this time the full extent of his injuries remains to be seen until all x-rays are back."

"I find it surprising that a Tony spokesperson would brush off this incident with a comment stating 'Mr. Michaels missed his mark' with no mention of concern for his condition," she continued. "If everyone at the Tonys were aware that Bret missed his mark then they should have been aware enough to stop the set piece from hitting him or at least slowed it down until he cleared the stage. I feel had this incident happened to Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton or Elton John the Tonys would have at least issued a letter of concern."

"Michaels was not on his stage but was at the mercy of the Tony. He was performing on the Tonys stage and had the reasonable expectation that that safety of the artist was a priority and at no time did he do anything over the top or outlandish that would have put himself or others in a dangerous situation."

All fired up, Bret's peeps asked, "with all the technology, producers, directors, stage managers and crew ... no one at the Tonys saw Mr. Michaels clearly backing up and turning to exit the stage or was capable of halting the prop or slowing it so it didn't strike Bret?"

Jumping on the bandwagon, Bret's other rep called out Tony host Neil Patrick Harris for making light of the incident on the broadcast.

"We realize the show is live and must go on, however it is unfortunate that the show's host made light of the situation without having any knowledge of the severity of Bret's injuries," Bob Wallerstein said. "Comments that Mr. Harris was doing shots backstage with Mr. Michaels and that Bret was completely fine were untrue considering Bret never saw Mr. Harris prior to, during or after the Tonys but in fact was being attended to by medical personnel backstage."

Come on, now. Neil was just doing his job as host and putting the audience at ease. What should he have done -- screamed "Call 911!" into the camera?

Still, Bret is pretty banged up and postponed a show Wednesday, while "further tests are being conducted on his head and spine."

We really do hope Bret gets better soon.

I know I really need to stop laughing at this video of Bret Michaels getting clobbered at Sunday's Tony awards.

The list of the Poison frontman's injuries is in, and the bad news consists of a fractured nose and a busted lip that required three stitches. He also had CAT scan on Monday because he had a previous back injury.

All in all, Bret is going to be fine, and his rep says the singer is in "good spirits."

This is so going straight to the top of any VH1 countdown on award show blunders.

The drama! I can't even take it anymore.

Heidi Pratt was hospitalized in Costa Rica on Saturday, while competing with hubby Spencer, on NBC's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! But allegations that the duo were being tortured on the set of the reality series are false, says an inside source.

"Any accusations that Spencer and Heidi were harmed are untrue," the source confirms, adding that while the couple spent approximately 14 hours in the show's jungle "Lost Chamber" awaiting their fate in the series, they were not in harm's way.

"There was no danger, no life-threatening situations -- in fact, they were actually protected from the elements, unlike the other contestants," the source adds. "When they came out, they were happy and in good spirits."

Spencer's sister, Stephanie Pratt, had some harsh words for NBC -- blaming them for her family's "suffering."

"I'm really saddened to hear that nbc felt it was ok to punish speidi so harshly-and torture them as if they were criminals-that Heidi was...rushed to the hospital and has an IV in her arm after being locked in a dark room for 3 days w no food or water. Pls pray she will be ok," Steph Twittered.

Puh-leez.

In a statement to UsMagazine.com, ITV Studios, which produces the series, confirms that a medic and doctor have been present at all times during filming of the show.

"ITV has been producing this format around the world for many years and the health of the celebrity participants are of the utmost importance," the statement read.

Of course it is. This was just one more opportunity for Speidi to get their names in media.

I love me some Bret Michaels, but, sorry, I had to rewind my DVR like 10 times when he got crushed but the set at the Tonys last night.

Bret and Poison performed along with the cast of Broadway's Rock of Ages (the best!) - when Bret didn't get to the back of the stage on time -- and got smashed by a piece of scenery. He was knocked to the ground and had to get X-rays, but his publicist says, being the rock star that Bret is, he still had plans to attend the after-parties.

We're glad he's ok -- and sorry he's hurt, but nothing was funnier than his hat being left in the middle of the stage while casts from the other shows danced around it.

Who would have thought the Tonys, of all places, would be where Bret would take home an injury?

Patrick Swayze's A&E series, The Beast, has met its maker, according to a source close to the show. After its first season and 13 episodes, an insider says the show has been cancelled.

"There's no way it was going to happen without Patrick," said the source.

The actor, who is fighting pancreatic cancer, was able to fill all 13 episodes last summer, but was then too ill to promote the series.

A rep for A&E told People.com "no decision has been made" regarding the future of the show, and Patrick's rep had no comment.

This just makes me sad -- and I've never even seen the show.

Yikes -- talk about putting your foot in your mouth.

Melissa Joan Hart is hoping for some magical forgiveness, after writing an apology letter to Farrah Fawcett.

What does MJ have to say sorry for? Well, the actress was over heard saying that she hoped the cancer-stricken angel wouldn't die so that Melissa would keep her bikini-clad cover spot on last week's People.

Wow.

"It has come to my attention that something I said has been completely misconstrued in the press. I was merely explaining what I had read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article last week I read in the Times," Sabrina the Teenage Witch tried to explain in the letter. "I truly hope that Farrah and her family know I wish them the best at this time in her life. And that I would never be so selfish to disrespect anyone, let alone someone I admire greatly."

Needlessly, she went on to reveal that her mom has been going through her own ordeal.

"Last week was an intense one for me in many regards," Melissa continued. "Not only for all the reasons that have been publicized for you like the magazine cover and the opening of our new shop. But mainly because my mother was admitted into the hospital and underwent an intense 8 hour surgery on a brain tumor. All of my 6 siblings and I gathered at my house and the hospital for the entire week to be strong for each other. She is out of the woods and on her way to recovery, luckily she is a good healer and has 7 children to lend a hand in times like these. Prayer is a big part of my life and it was very crucial last week for my mommy. I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she fights her way to a full and wonderful recovery. I love you Mommy!!!"

Sorry Meliss, but we don't believe for a second that your statement was taken out of context. Just sucks that you got caught.

susanboyle.jpgNo such luck on the whole Susan-Boyle-last-entry thing.

The Britain's Got Talent second-place finisher was admitted into a private clinic on Sunday, after police were called to her hotel.

London's Daily Mail says the singer is suffering from exhaustion, and showed signs of an "emotional breakdown" after losing the talent competition Saturday night.

"We were called about 6 p.m. on Sunday to a central London hotel to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act," a police spokesperson told the paper. "Police attended at the request of ambulance personnel and the woman was taken voluntarily to a clinic. No one was arrested and there were no allegations of crime."

Britain's Got Talent producers released the following statement: "Following Saturday night's show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained. She has been seen by her private GP who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery ... We offer her our ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery."

BGT's Piers Morgan told a British morning show that Susan just needs a break from all the media attention.

"I spoke to her yesterday for about half an hour and she's fine," the judge said. "She's gone in for some rest. She needs to get away from everyone - get away from the show, from the media, the public, and just have a bit of down time to herself."

We're happy to leave her alone. Get well soon.

Patrick Swayze is writing up a storm.

The actor who, despite radio reports, is "alive and well," is preparing to release his memoir this Fall.

According to the publishers, Pat's book will start with his childhood, cover his career, and then detail "his brave fight against a diagnosis of stage-four pancreatic cancer, from which he has gleaned wisdom and has remained resolutely optimistic."

Always by his side, Patrick's wife of over 30 years, Lisa Niemi, is also writing parts of the book. They are the ultimate team.

"With everything I've been fortunate enough to do in my life, and covering such a wide range of diverse subject matters, I'm told that my story has been inspirational to people," Patrick said in a statement. "I will write from my heart about these experiences and, aside from the sheer pleasure of doing it, if people happen to garner inspiration from it, or incentive, or find a new way to love, it would be wonderful."

I have a feeling that's not going to be a problem.

Natalie Cole is "resting comfortably" after undergoing a kidney transplant in LA on Tuesday.

"The kidney came from a deceased organ donor through the regional organ procurement agency, One Legacy," her rep said in a statement.

The singer has been struggling with kidney issues since getting treatment for Hepatitis C, which she was diagnosed with last year.

Nat will be doing more resting for the next few months, as she recuperates from this major surgery.

Get well soon!

Why do people have to be so stupid?

Some jackass at a Florida radio station started a rumor that Patrick Swayze succumbed to pancreatic cancer this morning -- but we can all relax -- our Johnny Castle has not gone anywhere.

"This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida," says the actor's rep, Annett Wolf. "Patrick Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment."

Certain things are just plain evil. This is one of them.

Remember Ethan Zohn, the curly-haired cutie who took home the million dollar prize on Survivor: Africa? Well, he's about to take on a much bigger battle.

Ethan was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's disease at the end of April, then, last week, he learned he is suffering from a rare form of the disease called CD20-positive Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Doctors are treating him with chemotherapy, and with the aggressive treatment, survival rates are at about 90 percent.

"This is the ultimate game of Survivor," Ethan told People.com, "and there's really only one outcome, and that's to win. There's no other option."

Ethan's longtime girlfriend, Survivor castmate Jenna Morasca, vows to stand by her man. "I will fight with every fabric of my being to get him through this," she said -- even if it means her boy's going to lose those signature locks.

"I so love the bad-boy look," she says. "I'd have him get a tattoo and a nose piercing, too, but he's not into it."

Ethan and Jenna both have a history with cancer, as each has lost a parent to the disease. They are hoping to use Ethan's fight for good.

"This is happening for a reason," he said. "You have to get spiritual about this [stuff]. I know I want to help people and inspire people. That's my purpose in life. So I need to use this as a platform."

"I've got good family and friends, and I'll roll with the punches as it comes to me. That's how I work in life. I'll take it on like a real game of Survivor," he says, adding: "I'm not getting voted out of this one."

We're pulling for him.

Really? Is this what they need right now?

One of the producers on Farrah Fawcett's cancer documentary, Farrah's Story, is suing the actress, Ryan O'Neal, and good friend Alana Stewart -- claiming that all three physically threatened and "otherwise blocked him from any role in the documentary" -- a project which he says he worked on for the past two years.

Craig Nevius says his production company, Sweetened By Risk, signed contracts in 2004 to produce Chasing Farrah, a reality show about Farrah's life, and in 2008, they decided to turn her home movies into another documentary project tentatively titled A Wing and a Prayer.

According to the lawsuit, Craig says he was contacted in September 2008 by Ryan, who "demanded" Craig release control of the project. "When Nevius respectfully declined, O'Neal physically threatened him," the suit reads.

Craig goes on to claim that the deal with NBC to show Farrah's documentary was done behind his back and that he was forced out of the actress' life. He is seeking unspecified punitive damages.

"This is not about money, this is not about ego, this is not about anything but Farrah," Craig told E! News. "I was entrusted with overseeing this very personal project. I am not only a colleague of her, but a friend."

"I want Farrah's vision to be seen and her voice to be heard," he added. "I regret the timing of this, but not to act is acceptance. I did everything I possibly could to avoid this, including saying, 'Look, give me five minutes in a room with Farrah telling me this is what she wants, I'm gone.'"

A rep for Farrah & Co. countered, "We are shocked by these allegations. Here's a woman who everyone knows has been ill...to do something like this is horrific."

"This has been a very difficult time for Ryan O'Neal and Farrah's family and friends. When you see something like this, you have to question the motives of someone who can do something so hurtful during this very sensitive time in another person's life."

What do you think? Does this producer guy have a case -- or, given Farrah's grave condition, should he just drop it?

We've heard so much from Ryan O'Neal over the past week, about how devastated he is over Farrah Fawcett's suffering, but the actress says she's not about to just lay down and die.

"I want to stay alive," the actress says in her documentary, Farrah's Story, airing on Friday. "So I say to God, because it is, after all, in His hands, 'It is seriously time for a miracle.'

"Of all the things I've ever hoped for in my life, finding a doctor to surgically remove my anal cancer did not even make the top one million on my list," she says in the documentary.

It's not that she wants to be invincible -- it's that she doesn't want to be taken down by this poison -- "a disease that is mysterious, headstrong and makes it own rules," Farrah says. "Mine, to date, is incurable."

"I know that everyone will die eventually," she adds, "but I do not want to die of this disease."

Hang on tightly.

Farrah's documentary airs on Friday on NBC at 9 pm ET.

Farrah Fawcett's documentary of her battle with cancer, "Farrah's Story" is set to air this Friday on NBC at 9pm.

The Today show continued their interview with Farrah's love, Ryan O'Neal, this morning, as he discussed the highs and lows of this cancer fight over the last few years.

Ryan talks about how their son Redmond shaved his head when Farrah lost her hair, how Ry loves her more now than ever (they have been on and off for 17 years), and how Farrah is just the strongest person he's ever known.

"She's the rock, she taught us all how to cope. I don't know what I will do without her," Ryan told Meredith Vieira.

It's really, really sad. But sometimes reality just is.

There is so much sadness right now surrounding Farrah Fawcett. I'm feeling drained by it -- I can't even imagine the toll it's taking on the actress and her loved ones.

Ryan O'Neal sat down with Meredith Vieira and, in just this short clip, your heart will break. Ryan tells Meredith about Farrah's last visit with her son, Redmond, who is currently in jail.

Red was brought to the house "like he was John Dillinger," in shackles and chains, Ryan said. "When you go into her," he told his son, "don't rattle your chains."

Ryan says Farrah isn't aware of her son's troubles. "She doesn't know ... she just holds him."

But Ryan says he has been floored by Farrah's will, battling her cancer like a champ, calling her "extraordinary" and a role model for those learning to cope.

"In the last two years, I loved her more than I've ever loved her - ever. She's so much more of a woman and powerful, courageous, fearless, all those adjectives. I look at her with awe."

My heart is in my throat.

In August, Farrah Fawcett gave an interview to the Los Angeles Times, under the agreement that they would publish it within 5 days of her documentary, Farrah's Story, set to air this Friday.

"It's much easier to go through something and deal with it without being under a microscope," she told the paper, about her battle with cancer.

The actress said dealing with the illness publicly "was stressful. I was terrified of getting the chemo. It's not pleasant. And the radiation is not pleasant.

"It becomes your life," she says. "People call, 'How are you?' 'How do you feel?' 'We're praying for you.' 'Do you still have your hair?' 'What do you feel like?' When every single call is that kind of call...it's all you talk about. It's all-consuming. Then, your quality of life is never the same."

Reports surfaced last week that friends of the former Charlie's Angel were preparing to say their final goodbyes, but Farrah said in August she is keeping the faith.

"I'm holding onto the hope that there is some reason that I got cancer and there is something -- that may not be very clear to me right now -- but that I will do."

I don't even know how you can prepare yourself to lose a loved one, but a source says friends of Farrah Fawcett are doing just that.

After Farrah's longtime love, Ryan O'Neal, opened up to People.com about the actress' grave condition, Farrah's pals have begun the heartbreaking process of saying goodbye.

"When Ryan spoke out like that, it was like a sign that it was OK for the goodbyes to begin,"  a source close the couple said. "We've all wanted to remain positive for as long as possible."

Ryan revealed that Farrah spends most of her time in bed these days, and she has basically stopped treatment for the cancer she's been battling for two years.

The insider said, though Farrah appreciates the huge outpouring of support from the public, she is trying to focus on those closest to her right now -- which is exactly what she should be doing.

"She knows there's tremendous support," said the pal. "But really right now is about being with her family and close friends."

Keep praying.

This is just going to break your heart.

People.com did an interview with Farrah Fawcett's longtime love, Ryan O'Neal, in which he opened up about Farrah's devastating battle with cancer.

"It's a love story. I just don't know how to play this one," the actor said. "I won't know this world without her. Cancer is an insidious enemy."

Ryan says that Farrah's cancer has spread to various parts of her body, including her liver, and that she is just doing the best she can.

"She stays in bed now. The doctors see that she is comfortable," Ryan said. "Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment. The treatment has pretty much ended."

She has been getting some visitors, like from her co-Angels, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson, and her son, Redmond O'Neal, who was recently released from prison for three hours to see his mom.

The visit was filmed in a documentary, Farrah's Story, which NBC will air on May 15. If you can handle it, you will see Redmond, in his prison jumpsuit and shackles, climbing into his mom's bed and crying. "Oh my gosh, my gosh, oh, my gosh," while he hugs her.

"Farrah doesn't know Redmond's in trouble," Ryan admitted. "And Redmond is terrified for his mother. 'I don't want to be in jail and have some guard tell me she is gone,' he said to me. I told him, 'She's rebounding.' I lied to him. I lie to her. It's the best thing."

But it doesn't look good at all for Farrah.

The couple traveled to Germany over the last two years, looking for better treatments, but every time they took a step forward, they were just beaten down again.

"At about the halfway point in our trips the news started to get darker and darker and darker," Ryan said. "The hope started to fade. But not for Farrah. She continued fighting. There was always a courage there, and a quiet dignity. Farrah never changed. I fell in love with her all over again because of how she handled this."

So, so sad. Keep them in your prayers.

Elizabeth Edwards has sat and smiled for long enough.

The wife of John Edwards is finally speaking out on her husband's affair with Rielle Hunter. Elizabeth, who is suffering from breast cancer, says when she found out about her husband's infidelity, which happened to be days before he announced he was running for President in 2008, she "cried and screamed. I went to the bathroom and threw up."

In her new memoir, Resilience, Elizabeth dogs her husband's other woman, of whose name she never uses, painting her as loser who seduced John by telling him, "You are so hot," and calling her life "pathetic."

Though Elizabeth stood by her husband during his campaign, she says now that "he should not have run." And she reveals that John "left most of the truth out," when he admitted to the affair, saying it only happened once.

Somehow, though, this rock of a woman has found a way to see past all of this and hold on to the hope that she and John can work it out.

"I lie in bed, circles under my eyes, my sparse hair sticking in too many directions," she writes, "And he looks at me as if I am the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. It matters."

Would you be able to forgive?
