Adam Goldstein -- better known as DJ AM -- has died. He was 36.

According to TMZ, he was found in his New York City apartment around 5 pm after not being seen or heard from in days. After a friend went to check in on him and was met with no response, he called the police. The police then broke down the door and found DJ's body.

The website also states that drug paraphernalia was found at the scene. In a 2008 interview with Glamour, Adam opened up about his past demons -- including an addiction to food, drugs, alcohol and a failed suicide attempt. He just recently finished shooting a mini-series for MTV about drug addiction, in which he also spoke of his past troubles.

As many will remember, DJ AM and Travis Barker were in a plane crash in September 2008. They were the only survivors.

Minutes after the news of his death broke, Shanna Moakler -- Travis' ex -- twittered: "My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends."

Leave your condolences for Adam's friends and family below.

That's right, Jon Gosselin is now hosting pool parties.

Billed as "America's favorite father," MGM Grand's Wet Republic in Las Vegas has announced that Jon will be hosting a party poolside at their hotel on August 29.

Some questions that spring to mind here:

1. After the recent photos of Jon's stomach, does anyone want to see him shirtless in a bathing suit?

2. Is Jon really "America's favorite father?"

3. Is Jon really a big enough "celebrity" to bring the big crowds?

4. How many blond girls in bikinis will Jon hit on?

As for his hosting duties, it usually ranges from simply being at the event to addressing the crowd quickly on a mic. Or perhaps Jon willl just show off his Ed Hardy duds as he'll be in Sin City with his new bff, designer Christian Audigier. Now we just have to wait and see if Hailey Glassman will join the festivities.

Would you pay money to attend a pool party with Jon Gosselin?

jonkategosselin2.jpg

About a month ago, Jon and Kate Gosselin made a pledge that they would stop speaking to the media in order to protect their children.

Jon never really kept that promise as he opened his mouth time after time to talk about his many relationships.

Now it's Kate's turn. Monday morning, Kate will go on NBC's Today show to break her silence for the first time since Jon was spotted canoodling with all sorts of women. Will Kate share her thoughts on Jon's relationships? Will she talk about how the kids are dealing? And why is she doing this -- is she sick of Jon getting the final word? Or is this to help boost ratings after they declined during last week's episode?

It seems like Jon can't let Kate have the spotlight all to herself, so Monday night he'll have his own exclusive on E!. At 7 pm ET, he'll talk about the latest rumors and whatever else Kate talks about during her Today show segment. Should be interesting.

Think they're doing the right thing or should they go back to keeping their mouths shut?

When we first learned of pitchman Billy Mays' death, the initial coroner's report from late June determined that he died from pulmonary embolism.

Sadly, new details are being revealed, and these show that his death wasn't as natural as we first thought.

According to E! Online, toxicology tests confirm that Billy had used cocaine in the days before his death, and the drug was a factor -- and perhaps even the cause of -- his passing.

Does this news change the way you feel about the OxiClean pitchman? Or are you still upset over his death?

Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott has been known to try out one macho activity after another on their reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

First there was scuba diving and then there was motorcycle racing, so it's hard to believe that hunky Dean will put on his dancing shoes next. However, that's what Dean's hoping for.

The reality TV star recently told People that he'd like to be cast on yet another reality show, Dancing with the Stars. "I'd love to be on Dancing with the Stars. It looks like the scariest thing in the world."

Well, when you put it that way, it does seem a bit more up Dean's alley.

He's a self-proclaimed bad dancer and has even said, "I'm 6'3" with size 14 feet, so I'm like a giraffe." (Look out, dance partner!) He might not score perfect 10's, but producers might enjoy having a big name like Tori in their audience each week.

Would you want to see Dean dancing?

Movies will never be the same.

John Hughes, the writer/director who brought teen angst to the big screen, died from a heart attack while taking a walk this morning in New York City. He was in town visiting family.

We have a lot to thank Hughes for, as without him, Molly Ringwald and Matthew Broderick might not have become big stars, nor would we know the famous line, "Eat my shorts." Some of Hughes' most famous films include The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Weird Science, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Uncle Buck and Some Kind of Wonderful.

His rep confirmed his passing to the LA Times. John Hughes was 59.

We love Channing Tatum. Really, after seeing those uber sexy photos of him in GQ, who doesn't love him?

Well, because we can't get enough of the sexy star, we got our hands on an exclusive photo of Channing in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. We love this pic because, though it looks like our dear Channing is struggling, you just know that at any minute he's going to use his super hero strength to stop him from falling to the depths below.

So, sit back, relax... and just stare. And of course, you can catch Channing Tatum in the new G.I. Joe flick when it hits theaters August 7.
Octomom's TV deal and Jon & Kate's tabloid world bring new focus on child labor laws

gosselinoctomom.jpgNow that Nadya Suleman, better known as Octomom, has inked a TV deal for all 14 of her children, she might want to take a close look at another reality show that owes its success to a large brood--the Pennsylvania Department of Labor is currently looking into whether the hit reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 is complying with the state's child labor law. All of this underscores an important issue that tends to slip through the tabloid headlines. If publicity-hungry parents aren't always looking out for their kids best interests, who is?

Agreements, contracts, and joining your efforts with others will work out very much to your advantage now. A friend or person in authority may offer help or present an opportunity which will benefit you now or in the future. Also, you will reap rewards later for the generosity and aid you extend to others at this time.

If contracts will work to her advantage, it's a good thing husband Marc Anthony just bought a football team.

At this time you enjoy emotional satisfaction and harmony in your home life. Relationships with women run smoothly. If you have a solid emotional base in your life, you will receive the benefits of that. If not, this is a good time to begin making connections with people and also to discover what gives real emotional nourishment and fulfillment.

La Lopez recently told Extra, "I would love to have more kids. I don't know if we will. I don't know if that's in the cards for us. But we'll see." If there's harmony at home, perhaps today is the right time to start prepping for pregnancy.

At this time your efforts to get ahead and advance your own interests are likely to be met with resistance or animosity. You seem overeager, pushy, inconsiderate, or too narrowly focused on your own objectives, so that you alienate the people who could help you. Try to do as much as you can on your own, without trying to force others to agree with you or join you.

Jennifer better heed this advice. Recently her ex, Ben Affleck, spoke to this exact point. Of his relationship with Jen, he said, 'I was no longer in control of my life... I got lost. Would you ever date someone who you've never seen?

I'm not talking about blind dates here. I'm talking about continuously dating a person that you still haven't seen in the light of day. Would you do it? Are looks that important?

This is what ABC's new show Dating in the Dark has set out to discover. Each week, the reality show, which premieres Monday at 10 pm, features three men and three women who remain completely sequestered from the members of the opposite sex. When they do meet, it's in a dark room, where they can see absolutely nothing. Of course, us viewers get the chance to watch all the drama thanks to high-tech infrared cameras.

After a few days of getting to know their prospective mates, each person's looks will finally be revealed, leaving them with the ultimate decision: Do they want to continue dating the other participant, now that they've seen how they look? I promise -- the results are surprising.

Dating in the Dark is fascinating. In one part of the show, the participants work with a sketch artist to envision what their dates look like -- it's purely based on their imagination and touching each other's faces in the dark (see image above). The results are incredible -- the men's sketches of the women are pretty much dead-on, while the women's sketches of the men resemble supermodels -- nothing like how the men actually appear. Is that because the men tried extra hard to figure out what the women looked like? Or is it because the women just really, really hoped their dates were super hot?

It's a fun experiment and might actually make you think about how you'd react in the same situation. Plus, I can't help but wonder which celeb couples would form if only they never saw each other's appearances!

Tune into ABC at 10 pm for the premiere of Dating in the Dark and let us know how you liked it!

If you haven't watched MTV's 16 and Pregnant, tonight's season finale at 10 pm is definitely worth tuning in to.

The show features girls who are, as the title says, 16-years-old and pregnant. While many of the episodes feature absolute train wrecks -- causing viewers to want to throw things at their TV sets -- tonight's episode might actually have you liking the pregnant teen.

Catelynn, the girl at the center of the finale episode, decides to give her baby up for adoption. Unlike most of the girls on the show, Catelynn actually seems intelligent, and in a sneak peek for tonight, tells the prospective adoptive parents, "I just want her to have better than what I had, and I know I can't do that, so I'm just doing the thing that I think is the best. And I know you guys can provide for her a lot more than I can."

Have you been watching 16 and Pregnant?
Bruno raked in $30.4 million at the box office this weekend, beating out the opening weekend $26.5 million payday of Sacha Baron Cohen's last big flick, Borat.

In the clip above, Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC's Morning Joe and NBC contributor Toure speak about the controversial film, as well as its social impact.

Social impact? Well, that's debatable. According to Toure, Bruno doesn't add any value to society. He said that while Borat exposed American racism, Bruno is simply performance art. Again, that's up for discussion. Perhaps Bruno isn't just about being flamboyantly gay and making people react. Perhaps it's more than that. Maybe--in some scenes--Bruno shows just how inane some rationals for prejudice can be.

On the surface, Bruno is an envelope-pushing comedy. It's funny to see celebrities like Paula Abdul doing absolutely crazy things--like using gardeners as furniture--as described in the clip above. (Sidenote: Latoya Jackson participated in a very similar scene, though Universal pulled the clip following Michael Jackson's death.) At the same time though, it may actually be possible for audiences to learn something from Bruno.

What impact do you think Bruno has on society? Did you love or hate it?

We're going to be live blogging Michael Jackson's public memorial service at the Staples Center, starting at 10 am PT/1 pm ET. Keep refreshing this page to get the latest details on the event.

10:12 am: The memorial begins -- a few minutes late -- with Smokey Robinson reading comments written by Nelson Mandela and Diana Ross, who did not attend the service, but sent their condolences to the Jackson family. In Diana's comments, she said, "Michael wanted me to be there for his children, and I will be there if they ever need me," referring to the fact that she was named as the successor trustee to Katherine Jackson, if necessary, in Michael's will. See the video

10:29 am: We're in the middle of a very long, unexpected lull. Nothing is happening. Technical difficulties, maybe? What we do know is that the Jackson family is sitting in the front row.

10:34 am: Michael's casket is brought in by the Jackson men, all wearing a single, sparkly glove. See the video

10:37 am: Pastor Lucious Smith speaks, calling Michael "a brother, a son, a father and a friend."

10:40 am: Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz perform a rendition of the Jackson 5's "I'll Be There." See the video

10:45 am: Queen Latifah, obviously emotional, speaks, telling the audience that Michael Jackson made us all believe in ourselves. She adds that "Michael was the biggest star on earth."

10:47 am: Queen reads a quote from poet Maya Angelou, in which she says, "Only when we confess our confusion can we remember that he was a gift to us... he thrived with passion and compassion, humor and style. Whether we knew who he was or did not know, he was ours and we were his... we are the world." See the video

10:50 am: Lionel Richie sings his song, "Jesus is Love."

10:54 am: Berry Gordy, founder of the Motown record label, speaks, saying that Michael Jackson "raised the bar and then broke the bar." He continues, "He sang with such feeling and inspiration, Michael had a quality that we couldn't completely understand, but we all knew he was special." See the video

11:00 am:
"When he did his iconic moon walk, I was shocked. It was magic. Michael Jackson went into orbit and never came down. Thought it ended way too soon, Michael's life was beautiful. Sure, there were some sad times and maybe some questionable decisions on his part, but Michael Jackson accomplished everything he dreamed of. I think he is simply the greatest entertainer that ever lived," Berry Gordy continues.

11:03 am: A Michael Jackson video tribute plays, featuring clips from his performances, fan reactions, news stories and music videos.

11:07 am: Stevie Wonder comes on stage to sing his song, "Never Dreamed You'd Leave in Summer." He personalizes the lyrics, adding in Michael's name: "I never dreamed you'd leave in summer, but now I find my love has gone away. Michael, why didn't you stay?" See the video

11:15 am:
Basketball players Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant take the stage. Kobe begins, saying, "Michael was also a true humanitarian... he always cared deeply for those in need. Michael also made the Guinness Book of World Records for most charities supported by a pop star." Magic follows, talking about his friendship with Michael Jackson and when he discovered that Michael liked Kentucky Fried Chicken.

11:18 am: Magic continues with his speech, on a more somber note: "This is a celebration of his life, of his legacy. I want to thank Michael for opening up so many doors for African Americans... he allowed Kobe and I to have our jerseys in people's homes across the world, because he was already there... His three children will have the most incredible grandmother that God has put on this earth to take care of them." See the video

11:21 am: A very pregnant Jennifer Hudson comes on stage and sings Michael's "Will You Be There" with a chorus behind her. The song is from the Dangerous  album, and was also featured on the Free Willy soundtrack. See the video

11:26 am: Reverend Al Sharpton speaks of how Michael broke the color barrier. "He created a comfort level where people who thought they were separate became connected through his music... Michael made us love each other. Michael made us stand with each other."

11:33 am: John Mayer performs, though he recently Twittered, "I also want you to know that I'm going not to 'perform' but to contribute... Proud to be a musician." John plays his guitar to "Human Nature," while background singers sing the lyrics. See the video

11:38 am: Brooke Shields come on stage, extremely emotional, and has a hard time starting her speech. "To us, it was the most natural and easiest of friendships. I was 13 when we met, and from that day on our friendship grew. Michael always knew he could count on me to support him or be his date, and that we would have fun no matter where we were. We had a bond." See the video

11:40 am: Brooke continues, telling personal stories about her friendship with Michael. "We never collaborated together. We never performed together or danced on the same stage -- although he did try in vain one night, unsuccessfully, to teach me the moon walk... We never filmed a video or recorded a song, but what we did do was laugh. It was always a competition to see who could make the other one laugh more or be sillier."

11:47 am: An extremely teary-eyed Jermaine Jackson -- Michael's brother -- sings "Smile," which Brooke Shields referred to in her speech moments before as Michael's favorite song. The song, better known as "Smile Though Your Heart is Aching," was originally written by Charlie Chaplin. Michael covered "Smile" on his album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. He later dedicated the song to Princess Diana during the last concerts of his HIStory World Tour. See the video

11:53 am: Martin Luther King III and his sister Bernice King take the stage. Martin Luther remembers how his father had always said that people should be the best of what they are. "
Michael Jackson was truly the best of what he was," Martin Luther King III says. Bernice then speaks, adding, "May we all be inspired to go and let our light shine."

11:58 am: Texan congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee now speaks, and immediately references Michael's child molestation charges: "We understand laws, and we know that people are innocent until proven otherwise. That is what the Constitution stands for."

12:07 pm: It's now Usher's turn to take the stage. He sings Michael Jackson's song, "Gone Too Soon." Eerily appropriate. Some of the lyrics include, "Like a comet, blazing 'cross the evening sky, gone too soon. Like a rainbow, fading in the twinkling of an eye, gone too soon." Usher breaks down as he tries to sing the last line of the song. See the video

12:12 pm: Another video piece. This one features the Jackson 5 singing "Who's Loving You."

12:13 pm: Smokey Robinson is back on stage. He speaks about meeting the Jackson 5 and when they recorded his song, "Who's Loving You." He says he first thought to himself, "This boy cannot possibly be 10 years old... I quickly went over to him because I wanted to see his birth certificate. I could not believe that someone that young could have that much feeling and soul."

12:18 pm: Shaheen Jafargholi
, a contestant on Britain's Got Talent, sings "Who's Loving You." According to Kenny Ortega -- who worked with Michael on his tours -- Michael had seen the 12-year-old on YouTube and was so impressed that he invited him to perform during his comeback concerts in London.

12:25 pm: Some of the performers from Michael Jackson's concert, along with the stars from the memorial service and family members, sing "We are the World," which was one of Michael Jackson's favorite parts of  his comeback concert. Fans outside of the Staples Center are seen holding hands, joining in a circle, as they sing along with the song.

12:28 pm: Fans and memorial service participants -- along with Michael's kids who are on stage -- sing "Heal the World." See the video

12:34 pm: Jermaine Jackson thanks everyone for attending the memorial service.

12:35 pm: Marlon Jackson, another one of Michael's brothers, is so emotional that it's difficult for him to speak at first. He then says he doesn't understand "why the lord has taken our brother to return home after such a short visit on Earth." Then, in reference to all the crazy attention that Michael has received, he says, "Maybe now, Michael, they will leave you alone." Marlon ends his speech with, "I would like you to give our brother, my twin brother, Brandon, a hug for me."

12:40 pm: Michael's only daughter, Paris, approaches the microphone: "Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And i just want to say I love him so much." See the video

12:42 pm: The family walks Michael's casket out of the Staples Center.

Michael's ex, Debbie Rowe, will not be attending, contrary to earlier statements from her reps that she would.

We'll be blogging the entire service, so stay tuned tomorrow!

It's been 1.5 weeks since Michael Jackson passed away, and his death is still receiving wall-to-wall coverage.

Whether it's details of Michael's funeral, his ex, Debbie Rowe, wanting custody, speculation of how he died, or the legacy of his music, we -- and everyone else -- are talking about it.

How do you feel about the nonstop Michael Jackson coverage. Are you sick of it?

Here's how some of our users have reacted to the news:

All of these people, so emotional and upset - when for 99% of the population, MJ was a punchline, a joke, who had no more cultural relevance these days. Until about 5 seconds after they heard about his death, they couldn't have cared less. -- emmake22

Yes, there has been waaaaaayy too much Michael Jackson coverage. But I don't think name calling the dead is the answer. That just brings more reaction and keeps the coverage going.  -- amd1427

I was at the gym when the headline "House holds moment of silence for MJ" scrolled across the screen. I was a little confused - my first thought was "Whose house?"  Then I realized they were talking about Congress... It really was out of control. -- lj_jacieb

Has it gotten out of control? Do you want the constant updates? Or is there other news you'd rather be hearing about?

After all the speculation regarding Michael Jackson's funeral and memorial service plans, we now know what's going to happen.

Michael's actual funeral will take place at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Mortuary Tuesday morning. Following the service, a memorial will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 10 am PT, reps for the Jackson family announced. A simulcast will play at the Nokia Theatre. 11,000 tickets  for the Staples Center event and 6,500 tickets to the one at the Nokia Theatre will be distributed to the public free of charge. You can sign up for the random drawing for tickets here.

We still don't know if Michael's body -- which will be buried in a $25,000, 14-karat gold-plated casket -- will be at the memorial.

The newest question in the custody battle for Michael Jackson's three kids -- Prince, Paris and Blanket -- is... Who are the biological parents?

Is Michael Jackson the biological father? Is Debbie Rowe -- Michael's ex-wife, who gave birth to Paris and Blanket -- the biological mother?

Well, TMZ is now reporting that neither Michael nor Debbie are the kids' biological parents!

Their sources say that Michael was not the sperm donor and that Debbie's was only a surrogate -- her eggs were not used. It is not know whether or not Michael picked the sperm or egg donors.

And, to make matters more complicated, Michael may never have even legally adopted the three children, because he didn't think a third party would try to claim custody.

Not to state the obvious, but did anyone ever think that those children were actually Michael's biological children? it's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out...

Update: Katherine Jackson has been granted temporary guardianship of the three kids. A hearing is set for next Monday.

As we reported earlier, the Jackson family plans to fight for custody for Michael Jackson's three children, Paris, Prince and Blanket.

Now Michael's mom, Katherine Jackson, has filed a guardianship petition, asking the court to appoint her as the guardian of the children.

The petition states that while the kids have "no relationship with their biological mother," they have a "long established relationship" with Katherine, their grandmother.

Earlier today an interview claimed that Debbie Rowe -- the biological mother of Paris and Blanket -- said that Michael Jackson is not the biological father of his children. Debbie's attorney has since said that the interview was a fake.

Still, Katherine's petition says that it is "not known at this time" whether or not Debbie agrees that Katherine should become the children's legal guardian.

Think the court battle for custody could get as heated as what went down between Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern following Anna Nicole Smith's death?

As expected, after the initial autopsy report, we know little more about Michael Jackson's cause of death.

During a press conference given by a spokesperson for the L.A. Coroner's office, it was announced "that the coroner has concluded the autopsy for Mr. Michael Jackson, the cause of death has been deferred, which means that the medical examiner has ordered additional testing, such as toxicology and other studies. Those tests, we anticipate, will take 4 to 6 additional weeks to complete."

Once those test have been completed, the coroner's office expects to close the case and issue a final cause of death.

The spokesperson added, "There was no indication of any external trauma or any indication of foul play."

Finally, the L.A. Coroner's office spokesperson told reporters, "We know he was taking some prescription medications," but he wouldn't comment further on that matter.

Was Michael Jackson dead before he even arrived at the hospital?

That's what's now being reported -- apparently the medics who arrived at Michael's house wanted to pronounce him dead, but Michael's personal doctor demanded they continue to perform CPR and take him to the hospital.

The EMTs allegedly not only found evidence that someone (perhaps his missing doctor?) had been performing CPR on the King of Pop for "quite some time," but that Lidocaine -- a drug sometimes used to treat disturbances in the heart's rhythm -- had been administered.

Michael was reportedly flat-lined when the EMTs got to the scene.

TMZ.com, the outlet that originally broke the story of Michael Jackson's passing, is now reporting that a shot of Demerol caused the pop icon's death.

Members of Michael's family told TMZ that he was given a an injection of Demerol -- which is very similar to morphine -- at 11:30 am, and that the dosage was too high.

Michael's father, Joe Jackson, allegedly wanted to put his son into a rehab facility for his addiction to morphine and prescription drugs. Family members also say that Michael was unable to perform for his upcoming concerts due to his use of drugs. Tour dates had recently been pushed back, apparently because Michael would show up late to rehearsals and was very lethargic.

Oddly enough, in 1997, Michael Jackson wrote the song "Morphine," which included the lyrics, "Demerol, Demerol, Oh God he's taking Demerol."

The fashion world just got two new muses.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's surrogate gave birth to the couple's two twin girls -- Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge -- Tuesday afternoon in Ohio. Marion weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz., while Tabitha was 6 lbs.

The actress's publicist said that "the babies are doing beautifully. The entire family is over the moon." Her rep added that Hodge and Elwell are family names on Sarah Jessica's side.

We first learned of the surrogacy back in April, when the couple's rep said that "the entire family is overjoyed." Soon after the news broke, Sarah Jessica expressed concern over the safety of the surrogate, especially after police chiefs allegedly broke into her home.

The new twin girls join Sarah and Matthew's first child, son James Wilkie, who was born in 2002.

Sarah's Sex and the City costar Kim Cattrall shared her congratulations, saying, "I'm thrilled for Sarah, Matthew and James Wilkie. More 'fabulous' girls are joining our SATC  family."

Yes, that's right -- today Jon and Kate Gosselin celebrate the big 1-0.

The unhappy couple, who met on October 5, 1997, were married on June 12, 1999.

Do you think they actually celebrated together? Or was Jon off having an affair, like he apparently did on Kate's last birthday?

What is the future of Jon & Kate's marriage?

  • They'll never make it another ten years.
  • They'll work things out and be together forever.

it's a mom catfight!

Earlier this week, Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, finally did what we've all been waiting for -- she spoke out against the other famous mom of eight, Kate Gosselin.

You see, last February, Kate, of Jon & Kate Plus 8, went on Dr. Phil and gave her thoughts on Nadya. Now, Nadya's firing back. In an interview with RadarOnline.com, she asked of Kate, "My children are extremely healthy, strong and happy. Don't you have, like, a lot of issues in your life? A lot of marital problems?" She went on to say, "Why are you so desperate to glob on to my life? For attention?"

Ouch, right? Well, with all this drama between the two moms of multiples, we decided to put Kate Gosselin and Nadya Suleman head-to-head on a number of issues -- like run-ins with the law and surgeries -- to see who comes out on top.

Check it out: Battle of the Multiple Moms! Kate vs. Nadya

Then come back here and tell us if you think we picked the winners correctly!

Susan Boyle has left the mental health facility that she had checked into four days prior after apparently suffering from exhaustion and needing to get away from all of the media attention.

Susan's brother Gerry confirmed her release, saying, "As far as I can tell, she is absolutely fine. I believe she is with the musical people at a flat in central London. The conversation has now moved on from the Priory [Hopsital] to talk about her musical career. She is feeling much better."

This is great news for the Britain's Got Talent runner-up, as E! Online's Answer Bitch recently reported that if Susan Boyle is going to make it as a singer, she needs to start working immediately before people forget who she is.

Luckily, Susan has a lot of people helping her music see the light of day once again. Simon Cowell, who is rumored to have offered her a stay at his home in Barbados, will likely sign the singer to his record label Syco. And if for some reason he doesn't, his American Idol costar, Paula Abdul, will see to it that Simon changes his ways. "If he doesn't live up to his promise and make sure she gets a record deal and a has a great chance... I'll kill him!"

If Susan Boyle releases an album, will you buy it?

jonkateplus8family.jpg As the rumors continue to fly regarding the rocky relationship between Jon & Kate Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8, an even more serious issue has come to light--the Pennsylvania labor department has launched an investigation to discover whether the TLC show is complying with the state's child labor laws.

This complaint brings about an interesting discussion, as child labor laws don't currently apply to kids on reality shows. Why? Because the kids are doing the same things they'd be doing if the cameras weren't there, so it doesn't count as actual labor.

According to a lawyer who E! Online interviewed, "Show producers are not taking the kids away from their studies, making them memorize lines, or taking them away from socialization."  He added, "The law would probably say that when the children are sitting at home using a coloring book or going to a soccer game, and they're being filmed, they're not doing someone else's business. They're doing their own business."

When kids are working on scripted shows, rules apply--they can only work a certain amount of hours a day, they have to take breaks and they must have on-set tutors. These same rules don't apply to reality show kids like the Gosselins.

And it isn't just the Plus 8 part of Jon & Kate. The WE network will be premiering their own show about sextuplets, Raising Sextuplets, on June 11. And Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, has signed a deal which will allow her eight kids to star in a reality television show.

The problem is that we don't know yet how these reality shows will affect the kids' childhoods. It's a pretty good assumption that the Gosselin kids are going to have some trouble when they get older and Google their parents. But aside from the outright drama, how will a camera in their face day in and day out affect them?

Perhaps, because it is such unknown territory, it's best to set laws into place now so that we don't have to see negative consequences in the future. What do you think?

These Real Housewives just keep giving us new things to talk about!

If you watched The Real Housewives of New Jersey this week, you saw that the rest of the housewives were starting to question all the rumors about Danielle Staub -- Is she a husband stealer? Was she a stripper? And the promos for next week's episode show Dina Manzo getting her hands on a copy of a book, "Cop Without a Badge," which supposedly features Danielle's mug shot.

Why exactly was Danielle getting her photograph taken at the police station? Well New Jersey's Star Ledger got a copy of the book (which is now out-of-print - sad), so now we have all the scoop.

The book tells the story of a woman named Beverly Merrill (who uses the name Danielle when she strips -- see the connection?) who has slept with thousands of men. As for the mug shot, "Beverly" apparently was partying with a drug dealer who had kidnapped, beat and starved a kid who owed him money, before calling the kid's dad for ransom. Beverly was then charged with extortion, kidnapping and possession. However, her main man, Kevin Maher, worked out a deal so she received only five years' probation. Kevin and Beverly eventually settled down -- Kevin was still married to his first wife at the time -- but he left Beverly after finding out she was cheating on him.

And, to top it all off, Gawker.com did a search of public records, only to find out that Danielle Staub did in fact go by the name Beverly Merrill.

So, do you believe it?

This is the case that never ends.... but it will soon if it's up to Rihanna.

The pop star was nowhere to be seen today as Chris Brown went to court for his arraignment. There, he pled not guilty to two felonies -- assault and making criminal threats.

Chris is due back in court on April 29, but RiRi seems to want this whole mess to be over even sooner.

Following the arraignment, Rihanna's lawyer, Donald Etra, spoke with reporters, and said that Rihanna would be glad "if it [the case] were over quickly"... which sounds very much like there's going to be a plea bargain.

As we reported earlier today, Chris (and now apparently Rihanna) wants to strike a deal, as his lawyer, Mark Geragos, and the prosecution have been engaged in "serious" plea bargain negotiations.

We totally get that Rihanna wants this all to go away, but do you think it hurts her as a role model for young girls? And how can Chris be "not guilty" after the haunting details of the assault?
