After all the speculation regarding Michael Jackson's funeral and memorial service plans, we now know what's going to happen.
Michael's actual funeral will take place at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Mortuary Tuesday morning. Following the service, a memorial will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 10 am PT, reps for the Jackson family announced. A simulcast will play at the Nokia Theatre. 11,000 tickets for the Staples Center event and 6,500 tickets to the one at the Nokia Theatre will be distributed to the public free of charge. You can sign up for the random drawing for tickets here.
We still don't know if Michael's body -- which will be buried in a $25,000, 14-karat gold-plated casket -- will be at the memorial.
The newest question in the custody battle for Michael Jackson's three kids -- Prince, Paris and Blanket -- is... Who are the biological parents?
Is Michael Jackson the biological father? Is Debbie Rowe -- Michael's ex-wife, who gave birth to Paris and Blanket -- the biological mother?
Well, TMZ is now reporting that neither Michael nor Debbie are the kids' biological parents!
Their sources say that Michael was not the sperm donor and that Debbie's was only a surrogate -- her eggs were not used. It is not know whether or not Michael picked the sperm or egg donors.
And, to make matters more complicated, Michael may never have even legally adopted the three children, because he didn't think a third party would try to claim custody.
Not to state the obvious, but did anyone ever think that those children were actually Michael's biological children? it's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out...

Update: Katherine Jackson has been granted temporary guardianship of the three kids. A hearing is set for next Monday.As we reported earlier, the Jackson family plans to fight for custody for Michael Jackson's three children, Paris, Prince and Blanket.
Now Michael's mom, Katherine Jackson, has filed a guardianship petition, asking the court to appoint her as the guardian of the children.
The petition states that while the kids have "no relationship with their biological mother," they have a "long established relationship" with Katherine, their grandmother.
Earlier today an interview claimed that Debbie Rowe -- the biological mother of Paris and Blanket -- said that Michael Jackson is not the biological father of his children. Debbie's attorney has since said that the interview was a fake.
Still, Katherine's petition says that it is "not known at this time" whether or not Debbie agrees that Katherine should become the children's legal guardian.

As expected, after the initial autopsy report, we know little more about Michael Jackson's cause of death.
During a press conference given by a spokesperson for the L.A. Coroner's office, it was announced "that the coroner has concluded the autopsy for Mr. Michael Jackson, the cause of death has been deferred, which means that the medical examiner has ordered additional testing, such as toxicology and other studies. Those tests, we anticipate, will take 4 to 6 additional weeks to complete."
Once those test have been completed, the coroner's office expects to close the case and issue a final cause of death.
The spokesperson added, "There was no indication of any external trauma or any indication of foul play."
Finally, the L.A. Coroner's office spokesperson told reporters, "We know he was taking some prescription medications," but he wouldn't comment further on that matter.

The EMTs allegedly not only found evidence that someone (perhaps his missing doctor?) had been performing CPR on the King of Pop for "quite some time," but that Lidocaine -- a drug sometimes used to treat disturbances in the heart's rhythm -- had been administered.
Michael was reportedly flat-lined when the EMTs got to the scene.

TMZ.com, the outlet that originally broke the story of Michael Jackson's passing, is now reporting that a shot of Demerol caused the pop icon's death.
Members of Michael's family told TMZ that he was given a an injection of Demerol -- which is very similar to morphine -- at 11:30 am, and that the dosage was too high.
Michael's father, Joe Jackson, allegedly wanted to put his son into a rehab facility for his addiction to morphine and prescription drugs. Family members also say that Michael was unable to perform for his upcoming concerts due to his use of drugs. Tour dates had recently been pushed back, apparently because Michael would show up late to rehearsals and was very lethargic.
Oddly enough, in 1997, Michael Jackson wrote the song "Morphine," which included the lyrics, "Demerol, Demerol, Oh God he's taking Demerol."

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's surrogate gave birth to the couple's two twin girls -- Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge -- Tuesday afternoon in Ohio. Marion weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz., while Tabitha was 6 lbs.
The actress's publicist said that "the babies are doing beautifully. The entire family is over the moon." Her rep added that Hodge and Elwell are family names on Sarah Jessica's side.

Susan Boyle has left the mental health facility that she had checked into four days prior after apparently suffering from exhaustion and needing to get away from all of the media attention.
Susan's brother Gerry confirmed her release, saying, "As far as I can tell, she is absolutely fine. I believe she is with the musical people at a flat in central London. The conversation has now moved on from the Priory [Hopsital] to talk about her musical career. She is feeling much better."
This is great news for the Britain's Got Talent runner-up, as E! Online's Answer Bitch recently reported that if Susan Boyle is going to make it as a singer, she needs to start working immediately before people forget who she is.
Luckily, Susan has a lot of people helping her music see the light of day once again. Simon Cowell, who is rumored to have offered her a stay at his home in Barbados, will likely sign the singer to his record label Syco. And if for some reason he doesn't, his American Idol costar, Paula Abdul, will see to it that Simon changes his ways. "If he doesn't live up to his promise and make sure she gets a record deal and a has a great chance... I'll kill him!"

As the rumors continue to fly regarding the rocky relationship between Jon & Kate Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8, an even more serious issue has come to light--the Pennsylvania labor department has launched an investigation to discover whether the TLC show is complying with the state's child labor laws.
This complaint brings about an interesting discussion, as child labor laws don't currently apply to kids on reality shows. Why? Because the kids are doing the same things they'd be doing if the cameras weren't there, so it doesn't count as actual labor.
According to a lawyer who E! Online interviewed, "Show producers are not taking the kids away from their studies, making them memorize lines, or taking them away from socialization." He added, "The law would probably say that when the children are sitting at home using a coloring book or going to a soccer game, and they're being filmed, they're not doing someone else's business. They're doing their own business."
When kids are working on scripted shows, rules apply--they can only work a certain amount of hours a day, they have to take breaks and they must have on-set tutors. These same rules don't apply to reality show kids like the Gosselins.
And it isn't just the Plus 8 part of Jon & Kate. The WE network will be premiering their own show about sextuplets, Raising Sextuplets, on June 11. And Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, has signed a deal which will allow her eight kids to star in a reality television show.
The problem is that we don't know yet how these reality shows will affect the kids' childhoods. It's a pretty good assumption that the Gosselin kids are going to have some trouble when they get older and Google their parents. But aside from the outright drama, how will a camera in their face day in and day out affect them?
Perhaps, because it is such unknown territory, it's best to set laws into place now so that we don't have to see negative consequences in the future. What do you think?

These Real Housewives just keep giving us new things to talk about!
If you watched The Real Housewives of New Jersey this week, you saw that the rest of the housewives were starting to question all the rumors about Danielle Staub -- Is she a husband stealer? Was she a stripper? And the promos for next week's episode show Dina Manzo getting her hands on a copy of a book, "Cop Without a Badge," which supposedly features Danielle's mug shot.
Why exactly was Danielle getting her photograph taken at the police station? Well New Jersey's Star Ledger got a copy of the book (which is now out-of-print - sad), so now we have all the scoop.
The book tells the story of a woman named Beverly Merrill (who uses the name Danielle when she strips -- see the connection?) who has slept with thousands of men. As for the mug shot, "Beverly" apparently was partying with a drug dealer who had kidnapped, beat and starved a kid who owed him money, before calling the kid's dad for ransom. Beverly was then charged with extortion, kidnapping and possession. However, her main man, Kevin Maher, worked out a deal so she received only five years' probation. Kevin and Beverly eventually settled down -- Kevin was still married to his first wife at the time -- but he left Beverly after finding out she was cheating on him.
And, to top it all off, Gawker.com did a search of public records, only to find out that Danielle Staub did in fact go by the name Beverly Merrill.

This is the case that never ends.... but it will soon if it's up to Rihanna.
The pop star was nowhere to be seen today as Chris Brown went to court for his arraignment. There, he pled not guilty to two felonies -- assault and making criminal threats.
Chris is due back in court on April 29, but RiRi seems to want this whole mess to be over even sooner.
Following the arraignment, Rihanna's lawyer, Donald Etra, spoke with reporters, and said that Rihanna would be glad "if it [the case] were over quickly"... which sounds very much like there's going to be a plea bargain.
As we reported earlier today, Chris (and now apparently Rihanna) wants to strike a deal, as his lawyer, Mark Geragos, and the prosecution have been engaged in "serious" plea bargain negotiations.
We totally get that Rihanna wants this all to go away, but do you think it hurts her as a role model for young girls? And how can Chris be "not guilty" after the haunting details of the assault?

Aside from the fact that President Barack Obama made history last night by appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he also may have gotten himself in a bit of trouble.

Obama: No, listen, I'm making progress on the bowling, yes.
Before the taped show even aired, Obama called the chairman of the Special Olympics, Tim Shriver, and apologized.
"He expressed his disappointment and he apologized in a way that was very moving," Shriver explained on Good Morning America. "He expressed that he did not intend to humiliate this population." Shriver added that Obama said he wants to invite the Special Olympics athletes to bowl or play basketball in the White House.

For all you View fans out there (I'll admit I'm one of them), this is kind of big news.
Joy Behar has often spoken about her longtime boyfriend, Steve Janowitz. She's also said how she doesn't want to get married again. Well, it looks like Joy is changing her tune.
Joy was the guest on Barbara Walters' radio show on Tuesday, and when Barbara asked her if she and Steve -- her man for 26-and-a-half years -- had talked about marriage, Joy answered yes.
She explained, "Somebody that I know lost her partner. They were gay women. And the partner was in the hospital, and she had to pretend that she was her sister in order to really deal with stuff. I don't want that to happen to us ... and I also just feel that I want to."
Though Barbara said she'd throw Joy's wedding, when the conversation came up again on today's View, Joy said she doesn't want a party. If she actually does walk down the aisle, she doesn't want anyone to be there. In fact, Joy actually seemed bothered by the whole discussion. In the end, she said that if she gets married, she'll announce it on The View the day after it happens, not before. Thanks for nothing, Joy!

As we told you earlier, actress Natasha Richardson suffered head injuries after a skiing accident yesterday.
It's being reported that at the time of the accident, Natasha, 45, was taking a skiing lesson with a private instruction. She was not wearing a helmet. As she neared the bottom of the hill, she fell. Her instructor immediately called the ski patrol.
After the accident, Natasha was in good spirits, and there were no external signs of injury. "She was laughing and joking and she walked to her room on her own," said a spokesperson for the ski resort.
However, an hour after the accident, Natasha started to complain of headaches. That is when she went to a hospital and was later transferred to the ICU at another hospital.
Around 1:40 pm ET today, it was reported that Natasha would be transported via a jet, though the jet's destination is unknown. Some are speculating it is headed to New York City.
At 2 pm ET, the hospital told TMZ that, contrary to earlier reports on Time Out New York (which first said Natasha had died -- they then retracted their statement and said she was brain dead), Natasha is not brain dead, but is suffering from brain swelling.

This is sad news! Actress Natasha Richardson was rushed to the hospital yesterday after suffering a serious head injury from a skiing accident in Quebec.
Natasha's husband, Liam Neeson, reportedly left Toronto where he was filming a movie and rushed to the Montreal hospital that Natasha was transferred to.
A rep for Liam's movie, Chloe, said in a statement:
"Liam Neeson left the Toronto set immediately to fly to Montreal upon news of his wife's accident. We do not have any details at this time but we hope for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and Liam and their family."
Natasha is the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave. She and Liam have been married for 15 years and have two sons together, Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12.

TMZ just got their hands on some documents that show that DJ AM wants at least $20 million from the company that booked the jet that crashed.
Here's the details: DJ AM is looking for $10 million in damages for medical bills, lost earnings and profits and other economic damages. The other $10 million is for mental and physical pain and suffering and other "non-economic losses."
I do feel terrible for the victims of the crash. This morning, Travis Barker twittered: "@ the hospital getting blood work for my next surgery, this will be my 15th surgery since September.....crazzzzy." Fifteenth surgery? That is crazy.

It's a good thing Carson Daly is up late at night with his show Last Call with Carson Daly, because someone's going to have to be awake with the crying baby.
Carson's girlfriend, Siri Pinter, gave birth to a baby boy Sunday night.
Their new son, Jackson James Daly, weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz., and is the first child for the couple.
Carson's rep told People: "Parents are both ecstatic. They have a happy and healthy baby boy."

As much as I hope that I'll see a Tori Spelling and Candy Spelling reunion on Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, I have a feeling it may never happen (unless, perhaps, ratings are down?).
After Tori published her tell-all, sTori Telling, her mom Candy decided to write her own story. Then, of course, Tori realized she had even more to tell, so she wrote a follow-up as well.
So, here's the scoop. Originally, Candy's book, Stories from Candyland, was set to launch on April 14. Then the premiere of Tori's book, Mommywood, was mysteriously moved to that same day. Her rep said, "[They] moved the book due to Mother's Day promotions at retailers. It had nothing to do with Candy's release date." Really?
Well, Candy wasn't having it, and she's now moved her book release up two weeks, to March 31, so that the two books' sales won't compete.
Candy also made sure to point out that she hasn't -- and won't -- read Tori's books.
"I never read her first one because my friends and family advised me against it," Candy said. "They said it would hurt my feelings, so I decided to pass. I won't read her new one either."
Though, Candy does like to think she's taking the high road. "I can assure you, however, that if Tori were to read my book, she wouldn't be hurt at all, and, in fact, it might bring back some wonderful memories from her childhood," Candy said. "Memories that I cherish and that's why I wrote about them."
Will you read either of the books? I have to admit that I recently borrowed sTori Telling from the library and I kind of loved it. It wasn't a literary masterpiece, but it sure was a fun read.

Over the weekend there was a warrant out for Lindsay Lohan's arrest because she had apparently missed some classes in her alcohol counseling program.
Well Lindsay's lawyer showed up in court today, and the judge dismissed the warrant. "The warrant is quashed and set aside," Judge Marsha Revel said. "I've seen additional proof ... that Lohan has been compliant with [her] program. There is no indication of dirty [drug] tests."
Lindsay apparently had "personality conflicts" with her old alcohol education program and will have to enroll in a new one. The judge ordered that Linds must show proof of that new enrollment by April 3.
Well, she's safe this time around. Wonder what Linds will do to end up in the headlines next time?

By now most people have come to the conclusion that Joaquin Phoenix's foray into rapping is a giant hoax. At least Gwyneth Paltrow, Joaquin's costar in his new movie Two Lovers, hopes it is.
During a press junket for the movie, Gwyneth had this to say to MTV UK:
"I think that there might be some other explanation or something going on. I'm not quite sure what, but I can't believe that he's really going to quit forever to become a rapper. It seems odd."
As for the advice that Gwyneth would give to Joaquin, she said, ""Hmm ... maybe to go live in the projects for a few years to get some authenticity, maybe."
I just realized what's interesting about this whole Joaquin mess. If any other actor said they were quitting acting to become a rapper, we wouldn't believe it. Imagine if Brad Pitt, or even Gwyneth, said they were giving up their craft to start a career in hip hop? We'd laugh! But for some reason when Joaquin says it, we truly aren't sure if he's actually serious. Why is that?

Is it April Fools? Jamie Kennedy just announced on Ryan Seacrest's radio show that he is dating his Ghost Whisperer costar, Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Actually, Jamie told Ryan they are "more than dating. We're not engaged. But we're more than in love."
Uh, what? Jennifer just called off her engagement three months ago. And not to be totally shallow here, but her ex, Ross McCall, was kinda studly. Jamie Kennedy, on the other hand, is, well, funny.
During the interview, Jamie also said, "If a person ever had anything, that had everything...it's love," Kennedy said. "She's so talented; she can sing, she can dance, and she's hilarious...and hot."

This is kind of surprising, considering I thought we were done talking about Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith's former lawyer and partner.
It's been two years since Anna Nicole's death, and authorities are just now filing the first criminal charges. Last night, Howard was arrested and charged with conspiring to fuel an addict with prescription drugs. The addict, of course, is the late Anna Nicole.
Two other doctors -- Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich -- were also charged with felonies. Sandeep was arrested and booked, and there is a warrant out for Khristine's arrest.
For the past two years, Howard K. Stern has always said how much he loved Anna Nicole. Does the arrest change your opinion of him, or did you think he was scummy to begin with?

This story gets me so annoyed. I figured after the whole "Jessica Simpson is Fat" debacle, people might actually stop criticizing women for their weight... for at least a few months.
I was wrong.
After watching Kelly Clarkson perform on American Idol last night, people started wondering if Kelly was pregnant. Pregnant?!? Why, because she looked normal and not stick-thin?
Kelly's outfit did accentuate her curves, but I still don't understand why that sends people into a frenzy. It seems like the second a female celebrity gains a pound, we either say they got fat or assume they're pregnant.
Well, Kelly's rep wants us all to know that Kelly is definitely not preggers.
Perhaps I'm ranting unnecessarily (you tell me), but I say we celebrate the fact that Kelly looks like a normal woman!

Could it be true? Could Jennifer Aniston be back on the market?
It's now confirmed that when Jen got back from her European tour to promote Marley & Me, instead of coming home to a bouquet of flowers from her man, she came home to a breakup. Yup, word is that John Mayer broke up with her upon her return.
Jen recently told a British magazine, "Who ever said that every relationship has to last forever? That's hoping too much." And, about finding the perfect partner, she added, "I don't have one and I don't think it exists."
I know no one's perfect, but I think Jen needs to raise her standards. Who do you think she should date next?

This whole Joaquin Phoenix thing is getting out of control!
Last night he took his new appearance (as a large, bearded rapper) to the extreme. When an audience member at one of his hip hop shows in a Miami nightclub started to heckle him, Joaquin got mad.
He yelled out, "We have a [double-expletive] in the audience," and jumped down off the stage into the packed crowd.
It's not clear whether or not Joaquin and the man threw punches, but security did swarm them immediately and escorted Joaquin out of the building.
Here's the catch: Joaquin's brother-in-law, Casey Affleck, filmed the whole event. It's really making me think this whole thing is a hoax and pretty soon we'll be watching it play out in a documentary.
