Tom Brady held son, John, well, like a football, as the guys left a park in Pacific Palisades, Ca. on Father's Day.

Along for the playdate was Tom's new bride, Gisele Bundchen, who has just announced that's she's preggers with the footballer's second child (Bridget Moynahan is John's mom), and their pet pup.

That man knows how to wear a pair of old, dirty jeans, huh?

Great news for Madonna this morning, as the pop icon has a new daughter!

Through all the heartache comes a happy ending for Madge, who has legally won the right to adopt Mercy James, 3, from Malawi.

"It's the early hours in New York now but my client has been awake all night waiting for this," Madonna's Malawi lawyer, Alan Chinula, told People.com.

Alan said he called Madonna immediately after the decision was handed down.

"She was ecstatic when I broke the news to her. She said, 'Thank heavens.' "

The lawyer is "now awaiting instructions from New York to start preparing travel arrangements for Mercy. I have to be there for her passports and everything."

It's looking like it will be 3-5 days before all the legalities are taken care of and Mercy can join her new family. She will be transported to the U.S. via private jet.

Congrats to Madonna and her ever-growing brood!

Plus: See what it's like to grow up as Madonna's daughter.

Kate Gosselin's been called a monster before, but now there's video evidence!

While on the Access Hollywood set where Kate and her eight kids were waiting to be interviewed, a cranky 9-year-old Mady Gosselin complained to her mom that she was thirsty.

Mady's complaints rapidly grew more frustrated, as she whined, "Mom, I'm gonna get dehydrated or something. I haven't had a drink all day." This seems to set off the other kids, who began asking for food and water as well. Once Kate heard their complaints, you'd think she'd obviously take a quick break to get them something to eat and drink, right?

Wrong. Kate blatantly ignored Mady and then a little while later asked someone off-camera for some water. After being handed a water bottle, she proceeded to take a nice long drink, before putting the bottle down and never giving it to Mady. Mady's response? "You're drinking right in front of me...that isn't fair."

I'm going to assume that Kate didn't know the cameras were capturing this scene, which makes me wonder what really goes on when the TLC crew leaves her house every night after filming Jon & Kate Plus 8.

So, for all of you on Team Kate, what's your reaction? And for those of you on Team Jon, have at it in the comments section...

John Travolta has been understandably MIA since the death of his son, Jett, in December, but the actor, who is skipping the promotional tour for his new film, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, is thanking his colleagues for all of their support during this very sad time.

On his website, the actor wrote a note to his fans, informing them that the people around him "stepped up without hesitation to help promote this wonderful film, and their unselfish efforts have allowed my family the additional time to reconcile our loss."

John singles out director Tony Scott who, he says, "gave me the freedom to define, and then to become, the ultimate evil mastermind" in the film, playing a man who hijacks a New York subway. "This role as an actor gave me the chance to dispense with all moral and ethical limitations, and explore just how bad this character could really be."

"I am very proud of the efforts we have all made in making this movie," he adds, "And I want each and every one of you to enjoy it."

Pelham also stars Denzel Washington, James Gandolfini, John Turturro and Luis Guzman. It hits theaters Friday.

Happy birthday, Stella McDermott!

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's baby girl already knows how to be the belle of the ball, as she celebrated her first birthday with a ladybug-themed bash on Saturday.

Joined by over 100 guest, including stars like Melissa Joan Hart, Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin, Scott Baio and Larry Birkhead, gathered at a private estate in Encino for a party way too fantastic for a one-year-old.

Get this -- a tented tennis court was filled with a gardening station where guests could put together their own potted plants, a cookie-decorating station, ladybug sprinklers, a ladybug insect zoo, face paintings and pony rides.  As for the entertainment, Stella's big bro, 2-year-old Liam, got to choose -- and his favorite group, The Jumpitz, performed.

Not exactly The Beatles, but they loved it!

"Stella was clapping her hands and enjoying the music," a guest told People.com. "And Tori and Liam were singing along to the songs."

And, like most kids on their first birthday, Stella took a dive into her ladybug cake.

"Tori had to wash her off with one of the sprinklers!" an amused witness said.

Oh, and don't think that the goodie bags included lollipops and spider rings. Nope, at the end of the party, guests took home a gift bag worth about $2,500, including gift certificates to Billion Dollar Babes and Mabel's Labels, Philips Avent insulated cups, Ming Ming dolls, T-shirts from Market and Stride-Rite shoes.

Makes me feel slightly in adequate when I think of my son's first birthday party at the local firehouse, but what can you do? The life of the rich and famous...

This is so scary.

Mike Tyson's four-year-old daughter Exodus is on life-support, after getting caught in a cable attached to a treadmill in the boxer's home.

Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill told FOX News, "Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console - it's kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

The little girl was found by her older brother, who alerted their mom. The girl's mom called 911 and paramedics performed CPR. Exodus is currently in "extremely critical" condition at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.

Mike was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident but has returned home.

So awful.

As a friend of mine said, "Clay Aiken must own a vineyard, because boy is filled with sour grapes!"

The once-American Idol runner-up has nothing nice to say about this season's second-place finisher, Adam Lambert. On his blog, Clay took it upon himself to go off on the glammed-up rocker that some thought were going to take the title this year.

"For the record...I couldn't be happier about the way AI ended this year," Clay wrote about cutie Kris Allen's victory. "I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year.

"This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing 'Ring of Fire' and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful and slightly frightening!"

"Just not my cup of tea at all. To each his own."

Like that wasn't bad enough -- Clay went on to just spit on most of the recent Idols -- and the judges.

"Not even having watched the show, I can tell you that I was WELL aware of the bias from the judges as to who should win. In my opinion, that is awfully unattractive. I don't think I am alone.

"I think many were turned off by the blatant favoritism shows towards one contestant...And, at the same time, I think they voted AGAINST an American Idol that has, for four years now, been more about the slick productions and polished contestants than it has been about finding the raw talent that it did in its first three seasons.

"Enough with the pretention. More Rubens, more Clays, more Fantasias and Tamyras and Kellys please."

Um, ew, Clay. Who asked you?

Things may be tough for Tori Spelling on the mom front (meaning with her mom, Candy Spelling), but that's certainly not the case for the 90210 star and her own fam. In these exclusive pics you'll see nothing but happy faces!

Tori's husband, Dean McDermott, joined her and their kids, Liam and Stella, at Oxygen and Cookie magazine's joint party, celebrating both the premiere of Season 4 of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood and Tori's Cookie cover! Both can be seen just around the corner on 5/26.

The bash was held in Kitson's courtyard in LA, where Tori and her brood met and took pictures with the guests.

Another season of her show, a Cookie magazine cover, and gorgeous fam? Now that's sweet.

It looks like it's not going to be so easy for Madonna to adopt little Mercy James, 4.

Her adoption request was already denied once, and though she is appealing, the father of the little girl is putting up a fight.

"I want to take care of her, and I'm capable of taking care of my baby," James Kambewa told CBS's The Early Show in an interview to air Monday, the same day the court will hear Madonna's appeal. "Mercy, she is a Malawian, so [I] need her to grow as a Malawian ... with our culture," he said.

The thing is this dude has never even met his daughter. James said he's only seen her "in newspapers and TV, not face to face." Now he wants to take care of her?

The Material Girl's rep, Liz Rosenberg, said she doesn't even know if this guy is Mercy's real dad since she has been in an orphanage since birth.

This guy totally just wants money, don't ya think?

Oh no! I hate when babies get sick.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber's son Alexander was hospitalized overnight on Tuesday.

The boy, 21-months-old, had some respiratory issues but, luckily, he was released on Wednesday morning.

"Sasha [his nickname] got home today and is feeling much better after being hospitalized on Tuesday night with respiratory problems," a rep for Naomi said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

Liev had flown home to see his fam, from the set of Salt, when his son got sick.

Hopefully all is well with them now.

I'm not sure whose cheeks I want to pinch more in this picture -- Matthew McConaughey or his gorgeous son, Levi.

How funny that both of Camila Alves' boys have the same expression on their face?!

I want to borrow them.

"I try not to look, but when I see these [paparazzi] pictures of Violet and me, I'm always smiling like a monkey, trying not to let her feel my anxiety. That was some really good advice I got about dealing with it. But now that she's older, she's more able to articulate that she doesn't like it. She'll say to them, 'Please stop flashing your camera in my face,' but they won't stop. Then she'll say, 'I don't understand, Mommy. I said please!' It's just twisted."

Suri Cruise is just growing up, literally, right before our eyes.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter celebrated her third birthday yesterday with a princess-themed party at her Los Angeles home. It was a small gathering filled with friends and family, and Suri got to blow out the candles on a cake that featured Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

"They just wanted to keep it small and make it fun for Suri and her friends," a source told People.com.

Sounds pretty normal! Happy Birthday, Suri -- you certainly are a princess.

In a new interview with Malawi's Nation newspaper, Madonna opens up about her rejected adoption request of Mercy James.

"I want to provide Mercy with a home, a loving family environment and the best education and healthcare possible," she e-mailed the paper in response to its questions. "And it's my hope that she, like David, will one day return to Malawi and help the people of their country."

"Though I have been advised that I cannot publicly discuss the pending appeal regarding my desire to adopt Mercy," she continued, "I do want to say how much I appreciate the level of support that I have received from the people of Malawi and my friends around the world."

Madonna was reportedly heartbroken when her adoption application was denied because she didn't meet the country's 18 to 24 month residency requirement.

What do you think? Should Madonna's celeb status be enough to break the rules?

This made me laugh.
Though I have to admit that I do feel bad about Madonna's disappointment over not getting to adopt Mercy James, this SNL skit is freakin' funny. It has the Material Girl being taunted by Angelina Jolie over how many babies she and Brad have. And every time they said "baby" I just found myself giggling.
Check it out.

After Madonna's plans to adopt a baby girl from Malawi were thwarted, the singer left the country early Sunday.

Madge's bid for the adoption of 3-year-old Mercy James was denied on Friday and the little girl was being sent back to her orphanage. The material mom and daughter Lourdes did get to bond with Mercy before they left -- which just seemed to make it harder on everyone.

"Madonna spent some time with Mercy; she looked sad but Lourdes, who had clicked with the little girl, looked devastated," said an insider.

Madonna has already filed an appeal and plans to continue to fight to make Mercy part of her brood.

This is perfect for Friday afternoon.

Here's Ben Affleck telling Jay Leno how he accidentally taught his 3-year-old daughter, Violet, how to curse in German. Every parent out there is going to be able to relate -- and even if you don't have kids, I guarantee Ben's imitation of his little one in a Mexican restaurant cracks you up.

TGIF!

Madonna's not going down without a fight.

After her application to adopt another child from Malawi was rejected this morning, the singer has appealed the court's decision.

"I have just filed a notice for the appeal," said her lawyer, Alan Chinula. He added that no date has been set for the appeal yet.

Madonna is being kept from taking 3-year-old Mercy James home by the country's residency requirement, which states prospective parents must live in Malawi for 18-24 months.

Celebrity doesn't get you everything.

Madonna's request to adopt a second child from Malawi has been rejected, People.com is reporting.

It seems residency requirement is keeping Madge from taking home 3 1/2 year old Mercy James. Prospective adoptive parents are required to spend 18-24 months in Malawi before being able to go forward with an adoption. Obviously, Madonna has not spent that kind of time there.

So, how is it that she was able to adopt David Banda in 2008? Insiders say it was her celeb status that made some people bend the rules. But not this time.

The Material Girl was not present for the ruling, though her lawyer, Alan Chinula, told Reuters she planned to lodge an official appeal with the Supreme Court later today.

Bridget.jpg

I was totally on the edge of my seat, waiting to hear what Bridget Moynahan was going to have to say about Gisele Bundchen's recent comments about Bridget and Tom Brady's baby being 100% hers.

Well, it's not Bridget that's retaliating with the smack talk, but pals of the actress are not keeping as quiet.

One friend told Page Six, "If Gisele loved Bridget's child like he was '100 percent her own,' then she would not talk about him in the press. Discretion and respect are not either of Gisele or Tom's virtues, as was evidenced even when the child was still unborn and they publicly flaunted their relationship without any discretion whatsoever."

Point taken.

"Don't you think Jack will grow up and read her comments and find them disrespectful to him and his mother? If Tom is such a great father as everyone likes to say, then you would think that he'd respect the privacy of his young child and would ask his wife not to use his son as a publicity prop and a subject of public discussion," the chum raged on. "Is she is so desperate for attention that she can't find anything more productive to talk about other than Bridget's child?"

Yowza! That is some venom!

And for one final blow, referencing Gisele's comment "It's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child -- I feel it is, 100 percent," Bridget's brigade quipped, "Hey Gisele -- real mothers don't call their kids 'it.'"

Yeah, we aren't seeing any big, happy family holidays in the future.

giselebundchen.jpgHot off her wedding to Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen is showing her sexy newlywed bod on the cover of the May Vanity Fair.

The supermodel opened up about the beginning of her relationship with the footballer, and about finding out that her then-new boyfriend was having a baby with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

"It was definitely a surprise for both of us. In the beginning you're living this romantic fantasy; you're thinking, This can't be true, it's so good!" she gushed. "And then, Whoops--wake-up call! We were dating two and a half months when he found out, and it was a very challenging situation. Obviously, in the beginning, it's not the ideal thing."

But these two stuck it out, and now they are doing their best to be one big happy family with baby John -- I would think, regardless, of how Bridget feels about it.

"He's a little angel--the sweetest, most cuddly, loving baby," she says. "I feel blessed to have him in my life. I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent. I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that's important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he's my son, from the first day."

I don't know, kids. I think that's great and mature of Gisele, but it's got to be a thorn in Bridget's side, no? What do you think?

Madonna's adoption of a Malawian girl has been delayed.

According to a court official the singer spent an hour in court this morning, but the legal meeting ended with a judge delaying the ruling on Madge's adoption application for 3-year-old Mercy James.

Apparently the little girls' grandmother is against Madonna adopting the child.

"Why doesn't this singer pick other children?" Lucy Chekechiwa told Britain's The Sun. "It is stealing. I want to go to court. I won't let her go."

Mercy's mom passed away at 18, right after she gave birth to her, but her dad is believed to be alive.

Fine, now I feel bad for everyone.

Who's your daddy?

Well, Grey's Anatomy's Jeffrey Dean Morgan got a surprising answer to that question, when he learned that is actually the father of a four-year-old son.

According to the new issue of Us Weekly, the actor recently found out that he and former girlfriend, actress/producer Sherrie Rose, have a child together.

"Yes, I have a 4-year-old son with Jeffrey," Sherrie told the mag.

Another source said that Jeff has since gotten to meet the fruit of his loins.

"He's shocked and surprised, but he wants to be in the child's life," the source blabbed.

No mention of how pissed Denny is that this girl waited four years to tell him about the kid.

kateiglamour.jpgYou may think you can push little Katie Holmes around, but say something bad about daughter Suri, and you're cruisin' for a bruisin'.

"Some of the stuff [people said] was such absolutely horrible things to say about a child," she says of nasty rumors about her daughter with Tom Cruise. "It was so uncalled for and so disgusting. Enough is enough."

Joey Potter says that she tried to keep it together right after Suri was born in 2006, but Tom was much better at letting it roll of his back.

"We were changing diapers. He said, 'I don't want you to get upset,'" Katie told the new issue of Glamour. "And I said, 'Well, I am upset.'"

"So we approached it together," she goes on. "But I definitely felt like -- as a woman, as the mother of Suri -- I want to handle this! My mom is very strong, and if anyone ever said anything about any of us, she would be, 'Excuse me? That's my family!'"

The mag then asked Katie what she would like to tell the heartless people who spread bizarre rumors about her fam.

"Sometimes I think I would say, 'Why don't you come over and have dinner? See what there is to see.'"

Um, okay! What time should I be there?
