Well, at least she's not walking barefoot into gas station bathrooms anymore.
Britney Spears will be heading to London for her Circus tour this summer, and Star has got their hands on the pop star's interesting list of hotel demands.
While staying at the Dorchester Hotel, Britney insists that she be given a room that has "never" been smoked in at all with humidifiers in all areas.
Um, didn't she used to smoke like a chimney? Is she trading her body for one that's never been smoked in too?
Anyway, Britney will be bringing her own pillows (she's not taking any chances) but wants the lighting in her room to be bright --- 100 watt bulbs only, please. She has demanded that fresh flowers be delivered as well and, for entertainment purposes, has asked for tons of magazines, chick-lit novels, and Marilyn Monroe movies.
Oh yeah, and she wants to be able to ride horses.
Definitely a change from the Cheeto-eating-Slurpee-drinking days of old.
Britney Spears walked off the stage after 15 minutes of her Circus concert in Vancouver last night, supposedly due to a smoky arena.
According to the Vancouver Sun, an announcement was made to the crowd reminding them to quit being butt heads. "The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes - this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared."
The interruption was met by "boos" from the crowd and left the fans "really pissed off. The break in the concert ruined it for everyone. The vibe was gone."
Brit returned 30 minutes later and continued to sing and dance, but took another break two songs later. When she finished up with "Womanizer," the singer told her audience, "Vancouver, don't smoke weed."
Brit's publicist told the Associated Press, "Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."
Riiiight. Crew members were getting sick from pot smoke. Seriously? She couldn't come up with something more believable than that?
A part of me kind of hopes this is true.
Star magazine claims that Britney Spears and ex Kevin Federline are back to doing the horizontal Hora (btw- Happy Passover!) -- and that Kevin's girlfriend, Victoria Prince, actually caught them in bed together!
Victoria "caught him with his hand in the cookie jar," a source told the mag.
This doesn't seem to be too unlikely considering how much sex Brit and Kev are supposedly having.
"It's like they're newlyweds all over again," an insider said of the twosome, who have been traveling together for much of her Circus tour. "Brit and Kevin can't keep their hands off each other! The flings have made them both a lot happier."
Hey, maybe they can be one big, happy family again.

Apparently Miss Brit has been going on "secret dates" (gotta love that term) with her agent of five years, Jason Trawick.
Jason, who is 10 years older than the pop star, joined her for the first four shows of her Circus tour. While Jason didn't comment on the relationship, a Britney insider said it's strictly professional and ridiculous to call it anything else. E!, however, is sticking by its secret dates theory.
I wonder if Papa Spears approves of Brit having a new man?

Britney Spears celebrated her 27th birthday this morning at ABC's Good Morning America. Our favorite Blabber girl, Tracy, was there to watch the comeback queen blow out the candles. So, I'll be filling in for her until Tracy recoups from this morning's events!
In true Circus fashion, Brit made her entrance dressed as a ringmaster atop a circus wagon, with clowns, jugglers and people dressed as circus animals in tow.
Between her performances, GMA aired birthday wishes from the stars, like Reese Witherspoon, Teri Hatcher, John Travolta, Nicollette Sheridan, Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift. Anyone else surprised by Brit's apparent group of friends?
The pop star announced that her tour will start March 3. Who's going?
It was another good day in court for Britney Spears!
According to a court rep, Britney had requested a hearing to reevaluate her visitation schedule with her boys -- and it was granted! Both Brit and Kevin Federline were on hand for the closed-door hearing in Los Angeles, as Britney's parenting coach answered questions from the court.
"There was a change in [Spears's] visitation status that was ordered," Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said. "Britney's demeanor in court was businesslike. I think any judge is pleased to see progress being made by parties in a case."
The exact details of the new agreement were not revealed, but TMZ.com says that Brit was asking for overnights with Sean and Jayden. When asked by UsMagazine.com, outside the courthouse, if she was happy with the result, Brit smiled and said "Yes".
Next there will be a status meeting on July 15th to check in on how everything is going.

The newest Spears mama is home, as Jamie Lynn and baby Maddie Briann were released from the hospital late Friday night. Taken from Mississippi to their family's home in Kentwood, LA. by a police escort (hey, where was my police escort when my kid was born?), JL and her little bundle of joy were said to be "catching up on their rest."
"They're doing terrific," a source told People.com. "The baby's got 10 fingers and 10 toes ... and a full head of hair. She's long, a tall baby, and she weighs 7 lbs, 11 oz."
Apparently Casey Aldridge's (Maddie's daddy) mom -- and new grandma, Joyce Aldridge -- says that the tot got at least one feature from her pops. She "has Casey's toes," the Nana insisted.
Yessiree, she's got his toes -- let's hope she's gotten that Aldridge keen sense of observation as well.
Seriously, I'm not making this up. This is straight from Star:
"Recently, when Britney was having a sleepless night, she decided to call Kevin at nearly 2 a.m. While they initially chatted about their boys -- Preston, 2, and Jayden, 20 months -- the conversation shifted. And as Britney hoped, Kevin knew exactly how to tire her out -- with hours of erotic talk!"

The court ruled that she will get more visitation time with her sons. Though Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline's lawyer, wouldn't say exactly how much more time Britney received, he did say it's "more than it has been." According to TMZ, Britney will get three days a week with Jayden and Sean, though it's unknown if she'll have overnight visits. Britney will also spend Mother's Day with her boys.
Jamie and Lynne Spears, Brit's parents, released the following statement:
"We are so pleased with Britney's progress, and we are appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress."
Congrats, Britney!
This will be the first time in over a year and a half that the former couple will sit before Commissioner Scott Gordon to discuss their custody battle.
Also on the agenda: Brit's court-ordered psychiatric evaluation. The results of the eval will most definitely be used when discussing Brit's request to have more visits, as well as overnight stays, with her boys.

About 30 women attended the baby shower, where Jamie Lynn was said to have opened every gift (who wouldn't?), while her mom and her future mother-in-law (babydaddy Casey Aldridge's mom) helped out.
Though it was meant to be a "normal" baby shower, sheriff's deputies were standing at the gate and paparazzi helicopters circled above the event. Very normal indeed.
Lindsay's playing an old high school friend of Betty's and will be appearing for five episodes. Think it'll go more of the Mean Girls route or do you think Lindsay's character may have actually been really nice to Betty?
I wonder if all of the problem celebs will follow this new trend. First Britney went on How I Met Your Mother and the world watched in shock as she actually seemed... normal. Maybe Betty will change our opinion of La Lohan?
Kudos for Britney Spears' parents, for coming together for the sake of their daughter. Jamie and Lynne Spears dined with Britney last night, at the Paradise Cove Beach Café in Malibu, California.
Dressed in a white dress and brown boots, Brit, with her mom by her side, sat in the backseat of an SUV, as her dad took the passenger seat, while someone else drove the fam for their meal. When they got out of the car, Lynne threw a red coat over Britney's head so she wouldn't be photographed by the paps.
That seems a little weird. Britney is already the most photographed woman in the world -- why start covering her up now? Whatever. Good to see that the pop star is spending time with the people who really care about her.
So, Britney Spears' dinner out with Mel Gibson on Saturday night wasn't her first! A source for People.com says that Brit and Mel have had a number of pow-wows since the pop star has been out of the hospital.
Get your minds out of the gutter -- the source says that Mel's wife has played a big part in the new friendship, as well.
"Mel and his wife Robin clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible," said the insider. "There's just a handful of people in the world who understand the kind of intense attention that Britney goes through, and how to raise a family with some semblance of privacy and how to keep one's family intact and out of the limelight."
I guess that's nice -- it just seems weird.
"There are no expectations, there is no agenda," the spy insisted. "It's simply an act of human kindness – one neighbor reaching out to the other."
I just never thought of Mel Gibson as the "doing it out of the goodness of his heart" type of guy.
BJS has been ordered by a judge to pay $375,000 to`Mark Vincent Kaplan, a.k.a. Kevin Federline's lawyer. The fees accumulated from all the trips to court that the attorneys had to make, concerning the custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James, mostly because of Britney's crazy antics.
MVK originally asked for $500,000 -- so I guess Britney got off pretty good, but she's also got her own bills to pay. Sources say she owes her peeps over $600,000.
At least she's working again. Maybe she'll decide to be a sitcom actress for good and leave all that pop star nonsense behind. It's not the worst job in the world, that's for sure.

Nobody ever said Britney Spears had good taste in men. Enter Mel Gibson.
Ewww, no! There was nothing romantic going on when Brit and Mel had dinner at a Russian restaurant Saturday night -- they were actually dining in a group -- in what looked like a business meeting.
"It was exciting to have both of them here together," a restaurant spy told People.com. "We heard they hit it off and that Britney seemed excited." They also said that Brit "looked happy" when she left.
The pop star and Mel had once been neighbors in Malibu, but I doubt they were discussing how to clean up the 'hood. Perhaps it was dinner for those struggling to get back in the good graces of Hollywood? Um, no, Lindsay Lohan wasn't sitting at the head of the table...
Britney Spears' something -- boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, boy toy, companion, business partner -- Adnan Ghalib, took a minute to talk to Access Hollywood about his beloved last night. Apparently he realizes he is on minute 14 of his 15 minutes.
The paparazzo, who is apparently famous enough to be invited to Fashion Week in Hollywood, was caught at the Ed Hardy/Christian Audigier show, where he commented on the craziness that has been Britney's life.
“In a situation like that, you’re not ever going to contain it. It is what it is,” he said.
When asked how Britney was doing, Adnan replied, “Just keep praying. That’s what I say.”
So deep, that Adnan. Tick, tick, tick...
"I would love, love, love to give Britney Spears a makeover. I think everyone wants to give her a makeover. But I think that she is so cute and sweet and has a great style. But it's all fallen apart and it's a mess now. I would love to bring her back to where she used to be."

In what may be her first statement to the press in, um, forever, Britney Spears is opening up about her new sitcom gig.
"Working at How I Met Your Mother has been so terrific," Brit told Entertainment Tonight. "Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful and Abby is such a fun girl to play. I'm having a blast!"
How wonderful that Britney is being welcomed by everyone over there and that she is enjoying her work.
Come on, this is the healthiest we've seen her in, um, forever.
