Sony has announced that that the release date for Michael Jackson: This Is It -- which is made up of rehearsal footage and behind-the-scenes stuff from the tour he was about to embark on before his death -- has been moved up two days to Oct. 28. It will then run for a limited two-week engagement worldwide.

Finally putting all the clothing line rumors to rest, Ed Hardy designer, Christian Audigier, says that he is not collaborating with Jon Gosselin on a children's clothing.
"I never said I was going to do a line with Jon Gosselin. I don't want to do a line with Jon Gosselin."
The designer simply says he knew of Jon from TV, knew he was wearing a lot of Ed Hardy clothes, and heard he was looking for a job.
"I just invite him because I see him on the Jon & Kate show asking for job. So I was curious to see what he was asking people for which kind of job."
Christian did say that Jon is very interested in his motorcycles -- and that maybe there would be some sort of deal there in the future.
"He is really into bikes, so he want to do something around bikes so he can be the spokesperson for one of my brands on bikes."
As for Jon's trip to St. Tropez to meet Christian, Ed Hardy's main man said he thought Jon's girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, was on the payroll.
"He told me he was coming with his stylist. It appeared his stylist was Hailey. A week after, I discovered those two guys were together. I didn't even know that Jon and Kate were not together."
On the other hand, Christian says that he was very interested in going into business with Michael Jackson -- which obviously isn't going to happen now.
"I invited him to my birthday," he said of MJ. "And he showed up. It was his last public appearance. He was testing [the public mood about him] at my party. So we became friends. He told me one day he would like to collaborate with me on a collection."
That's right -- Michael Jackson, yes -- Jon Gosselin, NO!
That really shouldn't hurt Jon's feelings -- but this should.
Eric Dane's third wheel in his naked non-sex tape with Rebecca Gayheart, Kari Ann Peniche, just signed a deal with Christian to design swimwear.
Ouch.
Time is running out for Dr. Conrad Murray.
According to Fox News, Michael Jackson's personal physician, who likely administered the deadly dose of anesthesia to the singer, will be charged with manslaughter within the next two weeks.
A law enforcement official reportedly said there will be one more search warrant issued for an LA pharmacy, and then the arrest would be made. The source said the DA's office is currently in talks with investigators about whether they will offer the doc the option of surrendering in Los Angeles, or if he will be arrested in Houston.
There are also rumblings that MJ's dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, may also be hit with medical malpractice charges.
But Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, denied that any kind of charges are ready to be made. "Until police complete their investigation and bring it to our office, there is no way to know what charges may be filed and against whom," she said.
It's pretty obvious someone is going down for the King of Pop's death, but who and when remains to be seen.
Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's doctor who is under investigation in the pop singer's death, has come out of hiding long enough to, um, thank us for our support?
"I want to thank all of my patients and friends who have sent such kind emails, letters and messages to let me know of your support and prayers for me and my family," he says the beginning of the video, shot last Wednesday in Houston. "Because of all that is going on, I am afraid to return phone calls or use my email. Therefore, I recorded this video to let all of you know that I have been receiving your messages."
"I have not been able to thank you personally, which as you know, is not normal for me," he continues. "Your messages give me strength and courage and keep me going. They mean the world to me. Please don't worry -- as long as I keep God in my heart and you in my life, I will be fine. I have done all I can do. I told the truth and I have faith that the truth will prevail. God bless you and thank you."
Dr. Murray can thank us all he wants, but it's not going to change the fact that he was allegedly the one who gave Michael that last dose of anesthesia that probably killed the icon.
Michael Jackson clothing is headed to a store near you -- at some point.
Yesterday a judge approved deals to let Michael estate administrators market an MJ clothing brand and other types of merchandise -- but the plan hit a snag when Katherine Jackson objected.
Michael's mom didn't so much object to the use of her son's name to sell this stuff, she's apparently just not to keen on the details on the deal -- and the split of the profits. Katherine's attorney says this isn't just about the money, though -- it's about protecting Michael's legacy.
Really?
But Katherine's hold on the memorabilia deal could cost everyone a ton of cash (the goal is to have the clothing and etc. come out at the same time as the film AEG has put together of Michael's last rehearsals and what-not).
"I see the delay as a real problem for the estate, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff. "She doesn't own the property," the judge said in reference to Katherine's request for authority to sign off on the final deal. "There's no reason to make her a signatory to those agreements."
Katherine's peeps said their goal is to show that "not only can more money be generated, but that the legacy can be better protected."
In other Michael news, Dr. Conrad Murray may be getting smacked with a wrongful-death suit by MJ's mom. But Katherine's lawyer said it's "premature" to discuss details.
There's your MJ update for the day.
News broke yesterday about La Toya Jackson's potential spot on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. Today, she sat down with Access Hollywood's Tony Potts to explain why she will not be accepting the show's offer.
"I've been approached to do Dancing With the Stars," La Toya said. "The fact of the matter is, I won't be doing it, simply because of the circumstances that [are] going on at the moment."
Since there are still so many unresolved questions regarding her brother Michael Jackson's untimely passing, appearing on the show just doesn't seem appropriate right now.
"I can't see myself putting myself into there right now, dancing every single day when I'm still trying to find out what exactly happened to my brother," La Toya explained. "That's the most important thing for me at this very moment."
Family always comes first. La Toya also said that she and her mom, Katherine Jackson, are huge fans of the show and watch it together. Maybe she'll be ready to take the stage next year.
Over a month after his sudden passing, Michael Jackson has still not been buried. A friend of the Jacksons, however, just told E! News that the family is hoping to buy a private garden at Forest Lawn Memorial Park for Michael's burial. Ultimately, the whole Jackson clan would be laid to rest in the garden together. "They are waiting to work out the details on buying plots for the whole family before they lay Michael to rest," says the source.
Each private garden costs around $253,000 and can hold up to eight plots. But wait, aren't there nine Jackson siblings, plus Joe and Katherine Jackson? Sounds like there are still a few kinks the family needs to work out.
We'll be waiting.

Even though the LA County Coroner's Office has allegedly completed the autopsy of pop singer Michael Jackson it could be a long time before anyone sees the results.
TMZ Reports that the results, which include Jackson's cause of death, are on indefinite security hold by request of the LAPD while they perform individual interviews to aid in their continued investigation of his death.
Do you think we'll ever get to see the results? Outlook not so good.
Well, here's some good news for Michael Jackson's kids.
In a new a court document, Michael's dad, Joe Jackson, has basically said that he's going to have very little to do with his grandchildren. He did, however, say that his wife (who he lives separate from), Katherine Jackson, will be a great guardian for Paris, Prince, and Blanket.
Joe called Katherine "a wonderful caretaker and guardian" who has done "an excellent job raising our children and other grandchildren. All decision making authority will rest with Katherine.
"I have had a close family relationship with these grandchildren since their birth," he stated. "I do visit the family residence from time to time and will continue to do so, however I will not be involved in raising the children."
Best news ever for those kids.
Meanwhile, Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael's dermatologist and once-rumored biological father of Paris and Prince, also wants a say in the children's up-bringing -- and will be petitioning the court.
"Dr. Klein has been involved with the children in sharing holidays and other special events and wishes to have the ability to continue his involvement as a very close friend of their father and offers his guidance and protection forever," the doc's legal team said in a statement yesterday.
Everyone wants a piece of the action. Even the family dermatologist.
A bunch of important decisions were made at Monday's court hearing regarding Michael Jackson's children and his money.
A judge ruled that Katherine Jackson will maintain custody of Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket, while Debbie Rowe will get visitation with the two eldest children.
The children and Michael's mom will receive undisclosed amounts of money that will be deducted from MJ's estate funds. Katherine's cash flow will continue for six months, when the arrangement will be reviewed again. Oh, and Michael's life insurance policy was paid out and put into a trust that his attorneys are handling.
In accordance with Michael's will, John Branca and John McClain will remain executors of the King of Pop's estate for at least another 60 days.
As for Michael's AEG contracts -- he was just about to give 50 concerts in London that would no doubt bring in tons of cash -- the concert promoters got a nice settlement from the estate, though the terms were not released.
Everyone's got something in the wake of Michael's death -- too bad money can't bring him back.
Don't you feel like we've already waited forever for the results of Michael Jackson's autopsy?
Well, it could be even longer than we thought.
Today the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has said they have "no idea" when the final autopsy report is going to be released. The coroner's office had originally said we would know Michael's cause of death by Friday, then we were told it would be more like next week, and now, everyone has basically stopped speculating.
It looks like, while the investigation of all the doctors and drugs continues to send authorities all over the place, the autopsy results will remain on hold.
Michael Jackson reportedly used a variety of names to obtain prescriptions for drugs.
According to court papers released Thursday, Michael had gotten medication under the names of his son, Prince Michael, his personal chef, his personal assistant, novelist Jack London and 1930s movie actress/dancer Josephine Baker.
At the office and home of MJ's doctor, Conrad Murray, cops were looking for evidence of the "delivery and storage" of the drug propofol, the powerful anesthesia that is being called the reason for Michael's death.
Warrants say authorities were searching for "charts, associated laboratory workups and X-rays, payment records and identification documents related to patient Michael Joseph Jackson" or under any of the aliases he used.
Wow. 19 aliases -- including your son -- paints quite the picture of desperate addict, doesn't it.
Joe Jackson is confirming that Omer Bhatti, the 25-year old backup dancer and son of the woman who is supposedly Blanket's real mom, is also Michael Jackson's son.
"Yes, I knew [Michael] had another son," Joe told NewsOne, when asked him about they boy. "Yes I did...He looks like a Jackson, he acts like a Jackson, he can dance like a Jackson."
New photos also point out that Omer was seated in the front row of the memorial with the rest of Michael's kids. Not like that's like having a DNA test done on the guy, but still, kinda telling.
Do you think Joe knows what he's talking about and this kid really is Michael's secret son?
The battle for Michael Jackson's kids is over!
According to breaking reports, Katherine Jackson will get custody of her son's three children, Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket.
Katherine Jackson's attorney, L. Londell McMillan, made the announcement this morning on CBS' Early Show, revealing that Debbie Rowe, the biological mom of Michael's two eldest kids, agreed to give the grandmother full custody as long as she could have visitation rights.
"It's an agreement. . .for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. There's no situation better for these children then to be raised and reared under the care of Mrs. Jackson," the lawyer said.
So, the word is that Debbie isn't getting any cash for giving up her rights to the kids.
This is what Michael wanted -- and it's obviously where those kids belong. What do you think of this surprising turn of events?
Another one of Michael Jackson's doctors is in the hot seat.
Lawrence Koplin, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, is being investigated in MJ's death. Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter went to the doc's office on Wednesday and later told reporters he was looking for the King of Pop's medical records.
"We're cooperating with the coroner's office and we have no comment at this time," a rep for the physician's office told People.com.
Joining Dr. Conrad Murray and Dr. Arnold Klein, Dr. Koplin's treatment of the singer is in question -- and cops are, no doubt, searching for info on what drugs were prescribed to Michael through his office.
Though toxicology reports on MJ were scheduled to come back by the end of this week, the coroner told the Associated Press that it's looking like they are going to be delayed.
It was just a matter of time before police headed to Dr. Conrad Murray's home.
DEA agents, LAPD and Las Vegas police raided the doc's Las Vegas house on Tuesday morning -- just one day after sources said that it was Murray who had administered a dose of Propofol, through an IV, to Michael Jackson the night before the singer died.
The doctor, who had been MJ's personal physician since May, is now the main focus of this investigation.
So, what did cops take?
Cell phones and a computer hard drive. They were also looking for medical records under 19 other names -- all which are reportedly aliases Michael used to get these meds -- including his son Prince's name!
Murray's attorney released this statement Monday: "It's a waste of time responding to all these timed 'leaks' from 'anonymous' sources. I feel like a horse swatting flies. Everyone needs to take a breath and wait for these long delayed toxicology results. I have no doubt they want to make a case - for goodness sakes, it's Michael Jackson! But things tend to shake out when all the facts are made known, and I'm sure that will happen here as well."
Oh, he's sure, is he? That's nice. Us? Not so much.
Dr. Conrad Murray is done.
According to a source close to the Michael Jackson investigation, Michael's doctor administered the drug that killed the singer.
A law enforcement official who asked to remain nameless told the Associated Press on Monday that Michael regularly received the anesthetic Propofol to go to sleep. The source also said that Dr. Murray gave MJ a dose on his final night alive.
Oh, and get this -- authorities say they know this happened because Dr. Murray admitted to it two days after Michael's death!
The doctor's Houston office was raided last week, as cops and DEA officials were looking for evidence to link the King of Pop's death with Murray.
Ed Chernoff, the doc's lawyer, says his client did not Michael anything that should have killed him. He said, Murray "was the last doctor standing when Michael Jackson died and it seems all the fury is directed toward him. Dr. Murray is frustrated by negative and often erroneous media reports, he has to walk around 24-7 with a bodyguard. He can't operate his practice. He can't go to work because he is harassed no matter where he goes."
Sounds like those are just the start of his problems...
It looks like someone was responsible for Michael Jackson's death.
According to law enforcement sources, the results of MJ's autopsy will be out next week -- and the cause of death is likely to be homicide. But this classification also comes as a result of ruling other causes of death out. Michael's demise is not being considered natural, accidental, an accidental overdose, or a suicide.
After the big raid in Houston the other day, it is looking like cops are targeting Dr. Conrad Murray as the one responsible with supplying the King of Pop with the powerful anesthesia Propofol on the day he died.
TMZ.com says both the Coroner and the LAPD believe that Propofol is what lead to us losing the legend.
Attorneys for Michael Jackson's estate have filed papers to get some money out the King of Pop's stash -- for his kiddies, of course.
Papers were filed Thursday, asking a Los Angeles judge to release some funds for MJ's three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket -- as well Michael's mom, Katherine Jackson -- who is currently taking care of the kids.
The Jackson lawyers are claiming that the family really needs the funds because Katherine currently "has no independent means of support" other than Social Security benefits and that the kids are relying solely on the trust Michael left for them.
No amounts were given (we're thinking it's a tad more than $100), but a judge will look at the request on Aug. 3 -- the same day the custody hearing is scheduled to take place.
